These playoffs have shown the Cowboys are not close to contenders

Brady was horrible for 3 qtrs yesterday, rams had 4 turnovers and gave up a 27-3 lead.
Buffalos defense was awful down the stretch as was the Chiefs. The Packers offense was awful
the whole game as was the 49ers who won because of blocked kicks. The Bengals gave up 9 sacks on the way to their win.
We tend to look at all the good from other teams and dont see all the flaws.

The o-line was terrible.

Brady had some bad throws sure.....but he got the snot beat out of him too.

How can you say Aaron choked? He had the game won until the blocked punt and touchdown. Also, he was throwing the ball in 0 degree weather in the snow.

It's crazy how so-called Cowboy fans have a short fuse for our QB but make excuses for THE GREAT Aaron Rodgers. THE GREAT Aaron Rodgers choked again whether you refuse to admit it or not. Many say here that your boy is a generational QB and he's been a failure year after year except for one year. Aaron had the ball for 5 minutes longer but we had more passing yards and 1st downs. We also had 9 more penalties. If it wasn't for those 2 stupid defensive penalties late in the 4th that extended their last drive, we have more time on the clock with all our timeouts and we win that game on that last drive, IMO. Aaron was held to ZERO touchdowns and only had one good drive. Most of his passing yards came on the 80 yard pass that was a blown coverage. Aaron has been playing in that weather for 17 years now. Stop making excuses for THE GREAT Aaron Rodgers who's a generational QB.

Jerry has not invested in a high draft pick QB since the wasted pick on a known drug addict Quincy Carter. He is delusional. What do you expect at QB, when you are not drafting an elite talent? Tony Romo a free agent was a fluke.

But he can build a dominating OL and draft playmakers on offense. The Chiefs have two burners, gamebreakers. The cowboys have none. The Chiefs and Bills have players who put the team on their back. The Cowboys offense was pathetic last week. Kellen Moore has been a terrible offensive coordinator. The league has learned how to beat him and he is too unsophisticated to learn counter-moves. Like a lot of people and things in Dallas, way over-rated.

The All-World Bills' Gabriel Davis, 4 TD's today (Amari, $20 million for what?) was selected in the fourth round in the 2020 NFL Draft.
The hit rate on QBs is pretty poor and to increase those odds you pretty much need to be in the 1st 3 picks. Always remember Jerry was trying to trade up Paxton Lynch who couldn't even make it in the league as a backup.

You’re out of your mind dude
There’s 4 teams left, we can beat any of these teams on any given Sunday - this team was 12-5 and should’ve won at least 2 of of the 5 games they lost. They played the 49ers better than the packers did and there’s a very high probability that both Tom Brady & Aaron Rodgers are retiring (and Adams is probably leaving GB to the highest bidder). With that being said there’s no team out there that I can say that the Cowboys could never beat of they played, and we’re significantly better than all of the teams in our division so we’ll be in the playoffs without a doubt in my mind.

I agree if you are taking about an early October game in nice weather. But here's where we CANNOT compete with these teams.

Cold weather, on the road against a physical disciplined team, in the playoffs while facing adversity in the 4th quarter.

Sure, we're the flashy Cowboys in the regular season but we sit at the little kids table in the playoffs and there is enough evidence where you should have a lot of doubt in your mind about that.

I disagree. We didn’t even get a chance to show what we can do in cold weather and I think we would’ve smacked Green Bay in the mouth - we are a terrible match up for them and as bad as the nfc east is, the nfc north is worse. If you don’t think the cowboys are physical idk what to tell you. In 80-90% of our games, a key player from the the other team that started the game, did not finish the game. This cowboys team is extremely physical. There seems to be this weird narrative that the cowboys got blown out by the 49ers. We had 14 penalties, tied the turnover battle, did not execute on 3rd down like we did all year, gave up 5 sacks, had 0 sacks and we were still 1 play away from winning that game. 1 or 2 more seconds and Dak has a chance to throw a TD from the ~20 yard line (where he is extremely efficient). We lost by 6 points to a team we would beat 7 out of 10 times.

As far as evidence from past playoff performances - this is the one thing in life that does not carry over year to year. The rosters are constantly changing, and the coaches are constantly changing. Hell just look at the 2016 cowboys roster and coaches compared to the 2021 cowboys roster and coaches, there’s about an 80% roster and front office turnover ratio. So that team has almost nothing to do with this team & that was just 5 short years ago!

I can tell you one place where the front office does not turn over, and they have a sorry track record. I'll believe the results will be different when I see it.

The remaining teams and compare them to Dallas.
-Better QBs except for Jimmy G
-Better recievers: Kupp, Diggs, Hill, Kelce, Deebo, Kittle, Chase >>>>>>>>>>>> CD Lamb, Amari
-Better RB: Mixon, Akers, Deebo, Singletary >>>>>>>> Zeke
-Better coaching: McDermott, McVay, Shanny, Taylor, Reid >>>>> Fat Mike
There is absolutely nothing that the Cowboys have over any of the remaining teams: Bills, Chiefs, 49ers, Rams, Bengals.
Nothing

You missed the biggest one......................much better Olines. That is the key. Those last 5 minutes and overtime of the KC game, those QB's had lots of time to throw in the pocket.

We all saw what happened to Mahomes and KC last SB when his line fell apart. So did Mahomes and that offense. Couldnt even score a TD.

Stafford also performed much better than could be expected of Dak.
That's because he's on a team that's well coached. Stafford sucked w/Detroit. If Rams make SB they'll have done so with two different quarterbacks in a 4 year time span.

Hell, Montana at center couldn't take Dallas any further. Joe would laugh at Moore's playbook & MM's clock management lol.

LOBOS correct or fan base picks apart our team much more than others. we aren't far away from being contenders and are very close losses by less then 6, 3,3,2 , 10 against so of the best proves that,.,. Imagine how bad we played penalty wise in some of those games and barely lost. That proves we are talented yet also mistake prone..we most clean that up but i see it from different perpective and say we con contend.

I'm wondering if you're actually a Cowboys fan or a plant from another team out to spread some propaganda? Low post count and quite a few anti-Cowboy threads from you, hmmmmm. In reality there were 14 teams in contention. Cowboys played one of the worst games possible, yet still had a chance at the end against one of the final 4 teams in contention? There's a lot to cleanup, but every team has their strengths and weaknesses.

You're right about one thing. They are not close. Obviously. Stop talking about them until they do something. What is the point? Go do something else that might mean something.

That is all.
