Mid to late round guys I really like:
1) Slot WR, PR'er, KOR n gadget guy - Britian Covey Utah
2) RB - Sincere McCormick UTSA

Both of these guys can add some explosion to the offense.

  • Nik Bonitto, OLB, Oklahoma (Good run and cover-off ball LB with solid pass rush potential)
  • Tristen Taylor, T/G/C, Eastern Washington (Played every position on the OL. Is a bit up there as he's played 7 season.)
  • Khalil Shakir, WR, Boise State (Going to be a solid WR2/WR3 and special teams guy)
  • Dameon Pierce, RB, Florida (Bowling ball type runner. Way less talented than Mark Ingram. But reminds me of a less talented version of Ingram)
  • Isaiah Likely, TE, Coastal Carolina (I went to CCU and followed their program. I liked this kids talent and just pops off on film to me. He's always available in my mocks around Round 3)
  • Sterling Weatherford, S, Miami (OH) (6-4, 215 frame. Is a beast against the run)
I like the guys on your list especially Bonitto n Pierce. Weatherford could be a good later round option if Kearse is gone. Moves really well to be that big.

Big Boy DT Jordan Davis is one guy I like, at 6'06" 340 he could help a lot in shutting down the middle

IMO, Davis is very scheme/team specific and how successful he will be.

If you throw him on a team like Tennessee, Buffalo etc. where he can be a solid 2 down rotation guy, he will be a stud in this league. I just don't like him above the 20s because those teams are desperate for more help up front.

I like him depending on who is DC and the system he may bring in. If Dallas does shift more to a 3-4 defense then I think Davis fits the bill as a 1 tech.

Need more Trevor Penning talk. I'd take him EASILY over green
Senior Bowl and workouts could catapult him out of our reach. Physically he’s extremely impressive. Long arms and powerful. I think he’s a Day 1 starter at RT and can easily slide inside and play LG at a very high level. But if he looks like a potential LT, then I don’t see him making it to our pick. Definitely 1 to watch.

Agree with this…Sr Bowl will be big for him.

Jimmy Johnson Trade Value Score
COWBOYS
1.24 = 740 pts
2.56 = 340 pts
TOTAL 1080 pts

RAVENS
1.14 = 1100 pts

The front office isn’t being shy about their needs this offseason and Dallas looks at the landscape in front of them and sees there’s no way that their preferred target doesn’t land within the division. If the Eagles aren’t packaging their picks to move up to select a QB, then chances are their selections at 15, 16 and 18 will ruin the mood at The Star, or Jerry’s yacht, wherever the war room is.

The Cowboys jump their division rivals to secure their target, who obviously is…

1.14 - OC Tyler Linderbaum, Iowa

The Cowboys went defense heavy in 2021 and it paid immediate dividends in their first and third-round picks, Micah Parsons and Osa Odighizuwa. CB Kelvin Joseph looks primed to move into a starting role opposite Trevon Diggs in 2022. Now it’s the offense’s turn to get some restocking.

Combined with last year’s fourth-round pick Josh Ball, this haul would give Dallas a refresh along the line. Dallas simply needs Ball and Terence Steele to be starter-quality for the games that Tyron Smith is sure to miss during the season and with these additions, they’ll be just fine moving forward.

If Linderbaum & Green are not there at 24, what do we do?

I like Dylan Parham but he is not a 1st rounder.

I know it's not trendy, but I like Jordan Davis. No pass rush, 2 down player bla bla. Don't care. Big man, good football player, makes other players on defense better. Same way Parsons was an easy pick because he was fast and good at football, and no one on our defense was. Davis fills a role on this team we desperately lack. We could add a player that Gs and Cs dont like to play.

That’s all fine and dandy just don’t draft him in the 1st 2 rounds.
