These ranking means very little especially when it comes to next season. We ended the season being number #1 in yards and #1 in scoring offense.
Did we look like the #1 offense during the last month of the season to you?
Nope...because we were not. Yards per game is a pretty poor metric for determining just how good an offense ACTUALLY is...minus contributions from the defense (points). The Cowboys were living large off that initial 6 - 1 run and beating up the NFC East cupcakes down the stretch. We saw what happened (twice) when they played playoff caliber teams.

12-5 Tennessee - 2nd best run D in NFL

13-4 Tampa Bay - 3rd best run D in NFL

9-8 Nawlins - 4th

12-5 Los Angeles - 6th

10-7 San Fran - 7th

7-10 Washington - 8th

9-8 Philadelphia - 9th

9-8 Indianapolis - 10th

13-4 Green Bay - 11th

9-8 Philadelphia again - 9th

7-10 Washington again - 8th

11 of your 17 games are virtually all of the top 11 run D’s. I’m gonna go out on a limb and suspect that this may not be Zeke’s big comeback season.

Based on this current season stats, throw in FA, father time, injuries its a craps shoot.

Yep. That's why I said those ranking the OP posted really can't be used to determine how next season will play out. Just like our rankings, you really don't know how accurate those rankings are unless you actually go watch all the games those teams played,
