Strange hire. A franchise known to put all its eggs in its defensive basket keeps doubling down. They need someone to develop the young QB.

I woulda just had Fangio come back as DC and hired Daboll as HC. He helped Josh Allen take leaps and bounds after his rookie season. Fields and Allen have similar strengths and weaknesses, if I’m Chicago I’m looking to get my first ever prolific franchise QB up and running.

The defense has always been solid and a lot of money tied up on that end.

It may not be him per se but how/who he putting a staff together. For example, I hear Daboll already has Martindale locked at his DC. That's an attractive combo for any team ...

Could be the big tatoo of the #11 on DQ's forehead that sways teams to move on..actually it is possible SP is channeling DQ and saying hang out one more year in Big D then come work for me, LOL

I think Eberflus is a good hire for the Bears, dude, shouldn't have gotten out of Dallas.
