You don't toss a HC after one season with a relevant QB that resulted in a division win and a 12-5 record. Not to mention McCarthy has more post season success.

Not a lame duck at all, but it is going to put pressure on him to win next year. If we miss the playoffs or go one and done again, I don't see how Jerry could not look around for a better coach.

Is all of these media reports accurate that says Payton is still under contract until 2024 and the Saints will be getting some stiff compensation if Dallas gets Payton within the next two seasons?
