No one wanted your OC. No one wanted your DC. Your Head Coach is a lame duck.

What does it mean? Your offense was a wreak from mid year through the one and done playoff lost. Your defense gave up nearly the same amount of rushing yards as last year. You're Head Coach can not out coach young gun Head Coaches in the NFC like Shanahan, and Kingsbury or old veterans like Arians and Reid. Now your OC, DC, and Head Coach are official lame ducks.

When have the Arlington Jonesboys players performed to save a lame duck coaches career? That got Garrett out the door. Your Dumbo GM signed the big blue M&M (McCarthy) to a 5 year contract. Sean Payton has the same remaining years with the Saints. I will tell you why that is important latter.

What is Ironic is that McCarthy was the Saints OC on a staff that got fired and replaced by guess who? Sean Payton and his coaching staff. New Orleans Saints fans knew while in New Orleans with Head Coach Jim Haslett, the Saints had 1 playoff season (2000), and got over .500 1 out of 4 years McCarthy was OC (remember Jim Haslett name). So now Arlington Jonesboys fans are looking just like the Saints fans of 2004, saying, Sean Payton, please save us.

However, the Saints owner was not President, Owner, and GM of the team. The good news and bad news is Mickey Loomis, GM of the Saints, son, Alex, is on the Cowboys personnel staff, Director of Pro Scouting. Bad news is that nepotism is all over the Cowboys organization. Mickey Loomis had worked out in 2019 to get Sean Payton to Dallas but messed it up with his bad relationship with the "Brow" Anthony Davis who wanted out of the NBA Pelicans also owned by Benson and managed by Loomis. So Loomis looms big over this mess of a mess. Aftermath is Jerry Dumbo GM Jones hires McCarthy. Both Sean Payton and Mike McCarthy get 5 year deals. Sean Payton loves Mickey Loomis (that is why he stayed in New Orleans) and Sean loves Loomis's son. But the nepotism does not end there and causes issues. Guess who is the Cowboys quality control coach, a position that Will McClay cut is teeth, Jim Haslett's son Chase Haslett.

The bigger issue is what is going to happen when Payton replaces the Big Blue M&M. Will Alex Loomis have a bigger role and position in the organization where the Cowboys finally have found a personnel department winners in Will McClay and Lionel Vital? Will Haslett, get a larger role with a Head Coach knowing that he is a lame duck to help is best friend's son?

Unless your Owner and GM of your favorite NFL Team is Jerry Jones, this can not get anymore Arlington Jonesboys messed up.

if no other team had wanted to interview either one then you might have a point. However, a lot of teams wanted to talk to them so…

Not true.

2020:
2541 yards Ranked #31 rush defense

2021:
1918 yards Ranked #16 rush defense.

And that's even with the extra game in 2021. Rush defense was average and bad at times but there was big improvement in rush defense from 2020 to 2021.
And this was with your projected staring DT and best run defending DE out most of the season and a 3rd round rookie playing most of the snaps.

Can not have Haterade for a team that has not done anything since 1995. Haterade for 3 playoff wins in 26 years and no NFC Championship games for a team that is suppose to be the Dallas Cowboys America's Team. Get Real. Arlington Jones get pity and jokes and not Haterade. Haterade is what Dallas Cowboys fans use to get a lot of 1966-1995.

Did anyone of them get a Job? or was in final running. 6 positions are still open and sports reporters are saying both Boy Genius and The Mighty Quinn will be staying in Arlington. Eberflus team did not make the playoffs and he is the Bears new HC. Hackett team was a no show on offense, was one and done with high expectations, and he is now the Broncos HC.

In a pass happy league, 16th or 31st is not good at all vs. the run. Because you have lies, damn lies and statistics. 4.5 yards per carry puts the Jonesboys run defense at 25th in the league in 2021. 5.0 was last years mark and that was 30th in the league. Therefore Jonesboys run stopping improve a 1/2 yard per carry and 5 spots in the bottom 4th of the rankings.

Jonesboys need another defensive draft with emphasis on the DL and LB.

Maybe Quinn did not like the teams and their direction he interviewed with.
Maybe he turned them down as a opposed to them not wanting to hire him.

You said we pretty gave up same amount of rushing yards in 2021 as 2020 which isn't true. We gave up far less this year than last year. Our run defense wasn't perfect by any means this year, but it was much better than last year. And our 4.5 YPC is ranked #23 not #25. We gave up 5YPC last year which was ranked #30.

We gave up 307 yards to Clevland, 294 to the Ravens, 261 to Cards and 208 and 182 yards to WFT last year. Rams, Niners and Eagles all ran for 150 plus also. Most rush yards in a game we gave this year was to the Broncos for 190.

Anyone who think our rush defense didn't improve from last year, didn't really watch all the games.
