So is nobody else but me livid about Booger putting his best mad face on last week just to temporarily calm some of you down? I knew all along it was a ruse....he had absolutely ZERO intention of firing Corky and hiring Payton....and news flash, Payton ain't coming here next year. The best and worst things landed square in our lap on January 9th....worst was that we didn't stay seeded #4 so we could have drilled AZ...best is that we climbed to the #3 seed which enabled Booger and Chuckles to see what we really were as a team. The football gods were just begging them to see the light and do the right thing....but nope....more of the same S....maybe its because I'm about to go through a lame duck season with my Sundevils that has me so gutted....I dunno. But having Junior back as OC, and Corky back patrolling the sideline with his Waffle House menu has me just about as Cowboy depressed as I've EVER been....and this includes The Catch and the 1995 NFC Championship.

He acts angry (sort of)
Says he’s going to do something
Then will come back and say he gave them all a real stern talking to and this time he really really meant it —
Overall he lines his pockets
I believe he wants to win another super bowl as it will further embolden him
But in the end after 26 years of maybe next year and being a fan for over 46 years
I’ve learned to still love the cowboys but can’t forget it’s a game and not worth freaking out over anymore

Why would I be outraged? I expected Jerry to be just like this. To expect him to change is insane. Always watch what he does, not what he says.

The Cowboys are screwed until he's gone. I sort of accept this because there's not a dang thing I can do about it. I don't buy his merchandise. I don't go to games.

Was there really any doubt that McCarthy was going to be kept as head coach for at least one more year, especially with Payton saying he wants to take a year off. Quinn returning was the biggest question mark. Moore returning became a given based on the last half of the season and the playoff game. He went from hot commodity to cursory interview.

Weve been regularly watching one of the biggest losers in professional sports for the past three decades.

Getting angry two weeks after the season? Nah man, this is us, this is our identity. We don’t play football in late January.

Lost my huge passion and rage when this team embarrassed themselves against a horrible Bears team in 2019 at Soldier Field. Fast forward 2 years and not much has changed. It's all window dressing in the off season.

No way does a team fire their head coach who took a 6-10 team the previous year and turned them around into a 12-5 team, division championship and who secured a home playoff game.

Lets start at the top. No way Billy Bob is gonna pay MM to sit on his rear end in the barn 3 more years. He didnt want get rid of Garrett til the contract expired and he knows no other team is gonna take McCarthy off his hands with an offset. Second he knows this may be a prestigeous job but it is not a desirable one. The list of quality coaches that want to work for Jerry is probably short. After a year off I think if Peyton were offered the job he turn it down. Knowing how hard it would be to win here with a bad front office and an average QB.
