Not sure what everyone expects, he literally had one year with the team (last year was a mulligan) and he had them in the playoffs. I don't think anyone thought we would be in the playoffs this year. If he is back in the playoffs again and wins at least one, I don't know how you can let him go. But fans will be fans. Coaches will never live up to expectations and neither will players.

I agree. As long as he win 6 games he should be given an extension. Anything more than 8 wins and you have to consider a lifetime contract.

As long as he wins any games next year he should be back for 2023.

I don't have a problem bringing him back. I think if he isn't good its pretty much a shoe in Sean Peyton is here.

I don't feel bad for MM at all, he's got one of the best jobs in the world. People would kill to make the money he makes. You want to say there is pressure on him? Well good I say. Maybe he'll coach to win, not be scared of the moment.

In my mind anything other than a SB appearance and we move on from MM. That may not be fair, but for a franchise thats as mediocre as us it is.

Conspiracy theories?!? Why isn’t Marcus here scoffing?

It's not conspiracy. The Cowboys are a professional organization and for whatever reason, decided NOT to quash rumors caused by their owner. Either everyone is incompetent or they were told to say nothing

It’s boom or bust for mm. He knows Sean Payton is the man catching up on him. It’s do or die this season. I just don’t see him doing well here. Cowboys track record in the playoffs is underwhelming and McCarthy will get the shaft for anything less than a super bowl.

I don't see it being Super Bowl or bust. I think reaching the NFC Championship Game in his third year would keep him around.

All Jerry’s posturing to the media was just showmanship again - act as outraged as the fans until things cool off in a week….then don’t change coaches to fix things so next year is rinse and repeat. We’ll have suspect HC and OC but with less talent.

How did Jerry cause rumors? That was the speculators calling themselves journalists. All Jerry said was he was pissed. He was mulling over his options, and had nothing to report.

All the speculators are implying conspiracies.

I don't want him to be walk around HC only, he needs to get involved in offense and maybe take over play calling.

Jerry's Boys Genius 2.0 is not cutting it, league figured him out

If we weren’t getting Payton then I’m ok with bringing him back and way more now with Quinn back. Kellen I can take or leave but if he’s coming back I hope he’s looked himself in the mirror and is ready to make adjustments

I think people are also discounting the fact that maybe MM finally decides to takeover play calling if KM struggles. At this point next season why would MM care? If I'm him and I'm going out I'm going out my way.

I think its a win win for all. Its kind of a kick in the *** to MM. Basically saying either win or your gone. With our backup plan Sean Peyton.

I'm pretty much due south of u I guess. Just barely North of Abilene. What did blow my mind was there was actually a Del Taco joint in Dallas.I saw it when I had 2 pick someone up at the DFW airport. That was 2 years back.Usually, they are just a western states(so I thought) thing..so Cal.
