Let this sink in Jerry, 9 NFL HC positions were open and Jason Garrett wasn't interviewed once!

Waiting for Garrett’s mother @Idgit or father @MikeB80 to chime in

come to think of it, I haven’t seen Mike around recently. I miss him telling us how great a HC Garrett actually was

Garrett as HC was mind numbing, but teams could do worse. Yes he is a .500 HC and teams could do worse or even better but for a team looking for that ideal coach, JG is a decent place holder. His teams were competitive but not spectacular. In QB parlance he is a bridge HC.

for an NFL team there is no HC worse than someone like Garrett

Has a background in football
Was a QB
graduated from an Ivy League school
Football family
Knows to say all the right things
Had the demeanor of a HC during games and in PCs

all these fool people into thinking this guy knows what he is doing and so he hangs around and hangs around and hangs around while the team remains 8-8 so middling draft picks and no chance to really suck and get a top end QB

His time with the Giants fully exposed him. They brought him in to develop Daniel Jones and he regressed big-time. So any team with a young QB will want to avoid him as HC/OC

BUT Garretts been gone while LET IT GO or move to a different team or sport, seek help.

Jones family will most likely own the team in some sort or fashion for the next 25 year narratives

so why keep beating dead horse. Move on if you don't like the ownership. its not changing

Or, you could just try to refrain from trying to control what people are saying and thinking. You are not the board police to tell people what they can post.

People say Jerry isn't the problem? Jerry waisted HOF players talents here under lame head coaching experiments like Campo, Gaily, and worst of all Garett.

10 years of the last 26 was waisted on Garett and he couldn't get one damn interview? Not even from the NY Giants of whom he played for and coached for?!?!?

Yes, Jerry is why we'll never reach a SB again in his lifetime.
It does look really bad.
Garrett's 1990s offense is repugnant to the modern NFL
Don't see Garrett even getting a coordinator job.
His best bet is the college ranks

Good luck getting that to sink in.

The guy tries to tell everyone else to ‘move on’ while being oblivious to the fact that he posts on the threads.

Practice what you preach and take your own advice! ‘Move on’ from threads you don’t want to talk about.

I think this quote from Giants ownership says a lot:

“We’ve done everything possible to screw this kid up since he’s been here. . . . We certainly have not given up on Daniel Jones,” Mara said, via Ralph Vacchiano of SNY.

It’s about Daniel Jones but clearly criticizes his time under Garrett.

Rumor was the Mara family didnt want him back before the season. Then two days ago said the coaching his QB had was poor. One fraud finally exposed. Fired twice in three years is a bad look.

Garret is a Captain Sobel type. But even that might be giving too generous a compliment. Sobel could at least train his men.

I think his kind is made up to be a college coach and work his way back up.

Otherwise, he will be an OC for a very long time in the NFL before being a hc again.

Jerry is a senile fool. Struck gold with Jimmy, messed that up, and he has been a monumental failure ever since. It’s quite sad, actually.
Jones has not yet demonstrated any discernable form of senility in public. For example, his speech patterns have been the same since well-before he purchased the team. Jones' issue is worse than senility, ego or greed. And it has remained unchanged for 27 years and counting.

Jerry will give him a job in the scouting/front office if he wants it
Garrett must be headed to the scouting department then since:

President
General Manager
Chief Operating Officer
Executive Vice President/Director of Player Personnel
Executive Vice President/Chief Brand Officer
Executive Vice President/Chief Sales & Marketing Officer

--are all taken. He would be a perfect hire as Executive Vice President/Director of Public Relations if not for the fact that Jones has held an unofficial 33-year old death grip on that job too.
