Hopefully Jethro will pay attention to how they turned this around by making bold moves in FA and blockbuster trades not satisfied with just a playoff team.

They took a chance mortgaging the future to win now. This is definitely a model our owner could follow . And could be the best path to bringing in more talent to get over the hump, now.
You're all for it now. And when it doesn't works you'll blame Jerry like you never liked the idea

No matter what happens from here.. it worked to the Rams and it worked for the Bucs..

and we could have done the same. We had a chance to pitch for TB and we could have pursued Stafford.. but we didn't because we 'like our guy' in Dak. Same as this year.. someone is going to get Wilson.. or even a guy like Carr or Cousins..and they will turn it around.

Meanwhile we will keep playing Dak and keep losing in the first round and wondering why...

OC is a major problem but Dak is right up there. We are not going to win until we have a better QB

So come 2024 when the rams have an actual 1st round pick and maybe 1 superbowl appearance then what? I don't see that model lasting very long. When Stafford or Whitworth can't hold up anymore. I fear the rams mortgaged their future much longer than realized to get a home super bowl.

Again ill say, its about being consistent enough to put yourself in position to win. If you get to the conference championship game every year chances are your going to win a SB. The rams expectation is to win a SB, the cowboys have become satisfied with just making the NFC title game. thats the difference.

The rams play in a tough division. We play in a division that is poor and can't take advantage.

Everyone lives in the moment. Who cares about 2024? They’ll still be talking about 2022 SB.

Need Aaron Donald, Cooper Kupp, von Miller, and Ashaun Robinson. Get those guys, then we'll start being like the Rams.

There’s one more key acquisition they made.

This is just a pipe dream anyway.

But I thought it would suit our owner taking this kind of risk . Why not. Lol

Of course, but that was an anomoly, cannot be counted on to find that. Plus, just the mention ruins any convo ur trying to have.
And it doesn’t have to be done now.

I just find it interesting since we don’t seem to be able to build a championship team thru the normal channels why not fly off the handle and take a risk like Tampa or LA’s path.

It actually seems like it might appeal to our maverick risk taker.

Jerry Jones would never hire a Sean McVay because it would take credit away from him if they win a Super Bowl. There is no template until Jerry is gone.

Maybe a Sean Payton might be interested in a Ram type adventure here?
