What has been proven, specifically? Can you link an article that supports your claim? I’m not proud, I’ll gladly accept I’m wrong as long as there’s credible evidence.

You won't get spit. That's the MO of the CONspiracy folks. Just insert hazy suppositions into a situation full of "could be's" and offer nothing else. Well, it "could be" that Bryan Anger trains with Bigfoot during the offseason and that explains his superior footwork with punts. I mean, there have been known reported sightings of Bigfoot so you do the math. Lol.

Legally the NFL is allowed to determine the outcome of their own games because technically they are Sports entertainment. That's the literal law when a fan sued the NFL in court and a judge said that.

There have been literal cases in history of sports betting scandals with refs being caught rigging games for gambling benefit and players taking dives. I'm not saying the NFL is rigged and setup but to laugh it off and completely deny it you are naive. This is a multi billion dollar business. When you have greed, ego, and human error anything can happen.

Maybe the NFL brands itself as Entertainment to thwart cuckoo lawsuits from fans with no lives who thought they saw a hold that wasn't called in a big game where they didn't like the result. That would be called being ahead of the mental illness curve from where I sit.

Not rigged, and the refs are not in collusion. (shock coming from me right?) :muttley:
However, I think some refs are a bit biased for and against certain teams / players. Or else, why do some refs call or do not call penalties the same way each time, and for or against certain teams.

Such as, Brady and Rodgers, Big Ben get breathed on, and gets flags. Dak, and Cam Newton, a few others, get killed, but no flag.

The NFL refuses to do anything about it, so therefore, it seems it is rigged, or maybe the better word is "weighted" for certain teams and players.

However, I did notice, later in the season, and in the playoffs. Brady and Rodgers did not seem to get that treatment, if anything what normally would be in their favor, was not. That was good to see.
As for Dallas against SF. Dallas screwed themselves, by playing just awful. Yes a few controversial things, if you could call them that. But if they were disciplined and played better, those would been a non factor as in most calls.

I complain, and mostly in the heat of the moment in game threads. And to get a response for fun. But many bad calls, or non calls seem to happen at weird times to us. That is a fact.
Doesn't matter at this point, can't do anything about it. Not going to waste brain cells on it.

Looking forward to the off-season moves, and improvements, if any.
Yeah bad calls happen to every team but when it’s at pivotal points and momentum changing or drive killing then it’s strange. Some remind me of the saints playoff game.. Not that obvious at times but just like really.

The simple fact you have to announce you don’t think it’s rigged shows how absurd this has become

……..so many of things have been proven to be rigged that we thought were untouchable, that we now know anything is not only possible….but probable.

your boys did a great job the last 2 weeks of football. Kudos to them letting the players and coaches decide the outcomes of those games

How many of those people were making millions of dollars every year? How many of those entities were making billions every year?

The days of players being "paid off" are gone. How much money does it take to bribe a multi-millionaire to put his career at risk? Millions? He's already making millions.

The NFL makes billions every year regardless of who wins, so what's the motivation to screw one team over another and risk having it become public? They have no reason to put their money-making machine at such risk. It would be asinine.

But fans have to find reasons why their team blows games or can't make it to the Super Bowl, and everyone loves a good conspiracy theory. It's easier to accept than your team sucks.

And the legend of Joe Cool continues ......
Legend? The kid hasn't even started yet. No quarterback has won the Heisman, the National Title & the Super Bowl. Joe now has a chance to do it all in three years. Imagine if he wasn't hurt last season. o_O

It’s rigged. Nothing guarantees its legitimacy. It’s legalized entertainment of for profit corporations and nothing more. They just have to produce enough air of legitimacy and integrity so people can believe that things can happen the way they want as long as the gladiators can scream, “Are you not entertained!?”

I used to watch wrestling. Rarely missed a show and had my favs. Never believed it was rigged or predetermined until one day I did. Well lets just say I haven't watched wrestling in over 30 years. If I purely wanted to be entertained I would still watch it but I would never be a die hard. I am a die hard football fan and especially of the Dallas Cowboys but I question things I see in some games and You Tube has videos on things I question. I have an ex wife who told enough truth in her lies that made me think I was crazy for questioning her honesty. Till the day I did. I think the NFL is like my ex but until it is 100 percent proven I will still be a die hard but with one eye open.

Speaking solely about the Cowboys every time we get a big run or pass I hold my breathe to see if the yellow laundry isn't spotted on the field before celebrating. Takes some of the joy away in itself.

Yep. Including a score. I always jump up and then wait. Is there a flag. Then celebrate. And then sit on the edge of my seat to see if we make the EP after a TD. I actually celebrate a EP now. Used to go to the bathroom or get a drink for a EP or FG under 35 yards..

This postseason, if anything, tells me it ISNT rigged.

Rams/Bengals rather than Mahomes/Rodgers?

Yeah ok.

Ha yes.

I remember the good old days of heading to the pisser immediately after a TD so I didn't miss the ensuing kickoff.

Fassels buddy changed all that....with a little help from Roger.

From the Chiefs message boards:

  • While I didn't think it would happen like this, it was pretty obvious this is the outcome they wanted. I know we've been made to believe teams like Cin can come back from 18 down like it's nothing, while the team with the best qb in the league only scores three points, but that's not realistic. Can it happen..sure..and that is where they get most people. With how KC was playing they should have torn Cin a new *******, but it's NFL entertainment. Talent doesn't matter, players don't matter it's all about money.
  • That second half looked like a masterclass in point shaving.
  • The NFL is just like any other job, you do what your boss tells you to do. When you see Goodell in the press box and you’re the home team, it’s not a good thing for you.
And I thought our conspiracy theories about the refs were bad.

I personally don’t think the NFL is rigged. Or at least not at a level where the league can guarantee a “fixed” outcome. It’s funny to see how other fanbases go through denial like we do sometimes.

Wouldn't start to doubt it with all the gambling they are pushing everyone to do now... Wouldn't doubt it will be like the movie 'Two for the Money pretty" soon!

Yep. He missed a game on the covid list and I think it was the falcons game. And we blew them out and the kicker made all the kicks right down the middle. I wondered if we may keep him but nope. And another team grabbed him up. I want at least 3’kickers this year trying out..

The match-up between the Bengals and Rams is the last option the NFL could possibly want.

The Queen City versus a town that is ambivalent about their franchise to the point the stands were filled with 9er fans.

If this Chiefs fan believes the NFL would not rather had Brady versus Mahomes, he is a whiner, and just has hurt feelings.

I hope his buddy the ST coach won’t insist on keeping him. JJ made a few comments about him missing so he maybe gone or we draft one with a late round pick or late round comp pick if we have one..

tell them Be thankful they let Mahomes run around the backfield multiple times in circles without calling holding

Now let Dak do that and see how many flags come out

I am envisioning Oprah in zebra stripes..........you get a flag! You get a flag! You get flag! Everybody gets a flag!
