He got his money before he fell off. Now set for life if he's not dumb with his money. Had he waited one more season he wouldn't have gotten paid nearly what he got. On the flip side, his contract hurts Dallas.
Good for him.... front office and fans don't appreciate crap. Get it while you can. The system and most fans will chew you up and spit you out.

His contract is what pisses me off about Dak, he knew the $$$$ Zeke got, and he had no problems asking for what he did with no thoughts at all about how we'd work it out.

I keep saying it but,,,,,single dude needs 40 mill .....what the hell, come on that's just flat out stupid.

Ok getting back to Zeke, yep...slow!

I hated the contract. Said so here many times leading up to it.

Pro football agents aren't dummies. Jerry sure is one sometimes.

Yep, he's not married he has no kids to feed or buy shoes for. He can't take care of his family, your family, my family at 25 mill a year, sure he can.

40 mill for a single guy is simply greedy, no way around it, and......all that endorsement.$$$$$. Let's be honest he has never been up there with the top guys so why pay him as if he were?

Hold out showed how much of a joke the front office was. Zeke at the time of the holdout like was #2 or #3 in the entire NFL at his position for guranteed money. This is the difference in media between 2 strong front offices (media was asking the cowboys about holdout and contracts before the draft)

Pete Carroll or Bellicheck: "no we don't do holdouts with 2 years left, our organization has no history of doing this and there will be no talks of a deal at this time, next question"

Stephen and Jerry answering same question (*real quotes): "zeke's out boy for life" "we already have the money allocated for him" "todd gurley is the starting point of negotiations"

Cowboys front office: "uhh why is he holding out, how did this happen" ? (mmm, wonder why ? you spend the whole offseason bragging about how you have the money and price point ready for him )

Zeke may be out of the league by the time he is 30. He's washed. At least the old Zeke is. I mean he did get 4.2 yards per carry. That's not horrible by any means. It's just not that 5.1 clip like he had as a rookie. He did have a torn ligament in the knee too.

Was looking at a few mock draft line ups, we don't see any running back until around number 35 with Spiller. Look at the Colts with the best RB in the NFL Jonathan Taylor, they didn't even make the playoffs.

Ya get a RB as cheap as ya can, never pay a second contract unless they are WOW!!! The thing with Zeke, sheesh!

Running backs are all over the place, every NCAA team has 4/5 of them that is a lot of running backs.
