Weak? The NFC West could become the best division since the 90s NFC East. Seattle has a top 10 quarterback and they are the worst team in the division. We saw what Murray is about first hand.
NFCE is the ONLY division which every team has won a Superbowl. Only a matter of time before they become strong again.

No he’s not special. But he still better than most. I don’t know how to replace him . Did Buffalo Cincinnati get lucky. Those are the two best quarterbacks in the league right now. Especially with Brady Retired. And Aaron Rodgers is just overrated along with his friend Patrick. I would put Herbert the top three also. Buffalo, Cincinnati, San Diego. Everybody else seems to choke. When it’s most important.

No offense but didn’t you say Dak is better than Mahomes?

Now Aaron’s Rodgers, the league MVP, is overrated? This is kind of ridiculous.

A person has to have very low standards if they think Dak was ever one of the best in the league. I wonder how much Dak pays these people that work in his damage control department.

Before I liked Dak I liked Art Schlichter, Spergon Wynn and Brandon Weeden.

His best year as a QB was his rookie year, when he had a dominant OL and the running game was leading the way.

He played within himself and made the easy read and throw and protected the ball. That is the formula for winning with Dak as a QB.
I don’t know how you come to that. They lost in the first round in 2016 just like they did in 2022 lol.

How is it any difference than you two fawning and adoring everything Dak does, right or wrong and you lovers don't even know him, or...do you? On his payroll, perhaps? Because I have never witnessed so much adoration for a mediocre QB wanna be.
I’m on the payroll…..

That goes for any QB.

How did Mahomes perform during this season's AFC Championship Game and last year's Super Bowl?

Case cased.

Lol!

If this is what you really think, why just stop at the QB position?

Next year, let's let Zeke start every game since it's not his FAULT he sucks now..

It's the Oline and K Moore's fault!

"Zeke would break the rushing record if he had All Pros at every position in the Oline. Talent doesn't matter, Zeke is a winner!"

Yeah.. You sound just as ridiculous.

He is what he has always been. A mid level QB that can play well when the running game is leading the offense.

Expecting him to “carry” the team as a passer is a failure on the part of management to accurately evaluate the player.

The fact he was able to hold the franchise over a barrel and get $40 mil per year is also their fault— because they balked when they could have signed him for 30 mil per year two seasons earlier.

The only way we win with Prescott is to cut ties with Philbin, hire a genius running focused OL coach, add OL talent and rebuild the OL, cut Zeke, feed Pollard, and add another dynamic RB to the mix so that Dak can utilize play-action whenever necessary.

His limitations as a QB will handcuff production against any defense that can stop our ground game. Therefore— while he is QB, invest resources in making the ground game as unstoppable as possible.
This! Right here! OL Coach, fix OL, get RB! Run run run!

Zeke is physically burned out. Worn out. Dak is not. Big difference. I bet you still believed Romo could perform better than Dak in 2016, huh? That's how ignorant, blind and foolish you are.

Dak has had some big passing days. No doubt.

If any of that made a lick a difference when it comes to playoff success I would care. To this point— he has shown himself to be capable of winning the NFCE, and until he proves otherwise— that remains his ceiling
It's a team sport when it comes to the playoffs. Everyone is good once there. Not 1 player wins a playoff game outright.

….if true, it’s the worst possible scenario. At least a physical injury will heal but if it’s in his head, it might be tougher to get over. A sports psychologist wouldn’t be the worst idea.

Many high paid executives get “life coaching” from experts and if I had a 160 million dollar employee with a mental based issue, I would spare no expense in getting him/her help

When you're paid elite money, you'd better show up to play in the playoffs. Our high priced players (Dak included) didn't. They choked. Arguably the only one that DID show up to play his butt off was the rookie Parsons. Even he didn't have his best game but he had a fantastic excuse. Rookie. Nobody else has an acceptable excuse.

People can talk about this regular season stat or that one...but at the end of the day, they failed when it mattered. Period. So until proven otherwise, The Cowboys (and DAK) are chokers. If they want to stop being called chokers, they need to stop folding like lawn chairs in high stakes games.

It doesn't take a former NFL player to see this.

The dude can't handle pressure. It was easy when you were the 4th round pick, feel good story, that was overachieving.

Now you're paid, expected to be great, and expected to lead your team places. When you don't you're going to get criticized much more for it because of your contract.

His skills can't back up everyones expectations for him. He knows this.

You just named 31 out of 32 QB's in the league. (Unless you're Brady)
(At bare minimum you named 7 of the top ten paid QB'S. Unless you give Wentz a trophy for winning on the bench.)

I agree with you, and disagree.

All players that come back from an injury that literally wouldn't be replayed on television because it was so nasty will come back timid.

Take that, an arm injury during practice, then getting another injury mid season and wrap your head around a guy that just got paid 40M to go win.

He was definitely not the same guy. I hope his strong will moves forward next season.

I have had a hard time with this year for him. It was very disappointing, but I kind of expected it. I lost faith at mid season. Not just from him, but the entire offense. Zeke went from looking fast, to sludge from injury. Penalties, kicking, OL.

Dak had a bad year, but man. Imagine trying to make a come back with this dumpster fire.

I've been on the fence with him since day 1, and here I sit. Hard to evaluate QB play when this organization hasn't been able to compete for almost 3 decades.
