I think we are stuck on semantics brother. I really do.

I have never said nor claimed Dak is solely the one responsible. I am merely saying QB is the most critical position on the team— and he let us down vs SF (among others) and we needed more from #4– specifically more points the first 3 quarters— and most definitely during the 2 min drive where we turned it over on downs.

You disagree? We don’t need better play from #4?

By the way— I completely agree with your point about the running game being necessary for Dak to be successful (helps ALL QBs). I posted earlier that we need a new run oriented OL coach and scheme, invest resources along the OL, cut Zeke, run Pollard, and add a dynamic back in the draft.

In short— fix the ground game, control TOP, avoid turnovers and Dak will win us some games
Dak will win a lot games for Dallas but he needs help sometimes. He is not Pat Mahomes. I think that’s ok though. I think he needs to play better sometimes but I am not hanging the SF loss on him. The running game will be hard to fix with Moore and a washed up Zeke. I agree it’s time to move on from him.

Agreed. He is not Mahomes. He is a top 10 QB who performs best with an elite running game. Management needs to recognize this and invest resources accordingly.

Any shot at postseason success hinges on optimizing the running game, beefing up the OL, and continuing to develop the D.

Just because we appreciate the quarterback. Does it mean we can’t critique him. Yes he’s not perfect. But the point is neither is Aaron Rodgers. And Patrick Mahomes put up a choke artist against the Rams

Why? He’s playing at an mvp level and getting millions of dollars.. Retiring doesn’t make sense.
And so is Prescott getting millions of dollars so. Face it no quarterback is perfect that’s what this should be about not just Prescott

Huh? That made no sense. Rodgers is elite. Daks just Dak.
Roger is the last five opportunities to go to the Super Bowl he lost. I don’t call that being elite. He hasn’t gone to the Super Bowl in 20 years. Screw Aaron Rodgers.

Come on buddy. Tom Brady is elite. Seven rings. Aaron Rodgers with his first ring maybe elite then. Right now he’s just a situational quarterback and I don’t call him elite. Alen borrows there elite at their young age

It is hilarious when you think about that people can essentially overlook a QB who plays a lot like Blake Bortles yet because he works hard and seemingly wants to win (I mean no other QB cares about winning right), he's elevated to the elite level of QBs in the league! I mean people are throwing themselves under the bus for Dak Prescott :lmao:

Look at his stats, records and accomplishments. Easily in the Top 7-8. Bonafied franchise QB. Dak is here to stay. Eat it.

I like Dak, always have! I also have never singled him out for the playoff loss (in fact I am as annoyed as you by other posters who do do that).
Somebody posted "Why does Dak have a pretty significant drop in completion percentage in his playoff career vs regular season?" and you said that's not true if you look at the numbers. So I looked at the numbers and found it WAS true. So I posted that. No agenda here.
5% drop is not pretty significant. Still in the 60s completions %. Now had Dak's completions % dropped 10+%, yes, that would definitely be pretty significant of a drop off.

Did you not see the youtube clip of Dak throwing a pick in the red zone down 28-13 to GB?

You have not answered MY simple and factual point about Dak failing to lead a GW drive at the 2:40 sec mark at home with all 3 TOs.

I have also posted Dak’s mediocre postseason stats— to which you also don’t address.

Instead— you resort to what is known as an ad hominem attack— you try and discredit the messenger (calling me a liar) because you don’t like the message lol

Try again. I am sorry if my not excusing Dak’s flaws hurts you and you take it personally lol… I swear some fans on this site are sensitive lol

No. You cowardly refuse to answer my questions, because you know the answers will expose your bias and agenda.

Quit being dumb, his completion percentage drops significantly in the playoffs
5% drop is not significant. His pass completions % stayed in the 60s. That's not a significant drop. If it was 10% or more, then yes, that definitely would be a significant drop. 5% is not. Wisen up.
