If Stephen doesn't bring in a running game coordinator the 2022 season is already over if you want a deep playoff run. The Joneses never do what it takes to win since the mid 90s.

Philbs and Fat Mike are a package deal.

Is Philbin the issue or perhaps 77 breaking down every 4 games 52 holding the guy at the stadium valet parking lot 71 getting suspended for stupidity …I mean Blain Nye and Rayfield Wright Eric Williams Nate Newton are not exactly in abundance on this 53 man conglomerate.

You got Zack Martin & Terrence Steele then ??? I hope Will McClay hits on some Oline help in April . Josh Ball and Farniok last draft were invisible .

Dallas was not the only team who had fits vs San Fran 4 man rush. Not often I see Rodgers planted on his butt 5 times in a game and unable to put up points. I don't excuse the OL and this must be addressed but I will also tip my hat to the 9ers who did a hell of a job up front with their DLine.

It wasn't just the 49ers, our OL was mostly ineffective for like 8-9 games with most defenses running a 4-base/shell coverage defense. We couldn't figure out how to beat that? Blame who you want but college offenses are more effective against those defensive alignments. Common football stuff.

Apparently Philbin is BFF with Big Mike.

And the lack of accountability still exist with this team. I'm beginning to dislike MM and losing faith that he can take us to the promise land.

Jerry doesn't care about coaches. He only cares about controlling them. Jerry has surrounded himself with YES MEN. All they do is stroke his ego and say how great of a owner he is, blah, blah.

This team just frustrates me.

Relax. There's no sense in making changes when everything's already in place. We just have to hope for no flukes this year.

as do most HC who get hired, they bring in coaches they know and have worked with that is not something McCarthy invented it is pretty much the norm.

I agree with you but most times the coaches aren't completely incompetent like these two have shown to be.

There is always room in the barn for ex coaches.

So......with an arguably less talented team in 2022 and the same coaching staff we’re expecting a difference result than in 2021?

That's the plan....

We replace the known problems.....Conner Williams....Anthony Brown......and try to hang on to all of our free agents.

And who we can't keep....we find replacements in the draft.

What's not to like?

What about our running backs coach. Has he been hammered on Twitter. Why was Pollard not getting more carries. Fire him now.

We like our guys!
Does Jerry never learn? Has his management style ever worked in 26 years?

The same cast of clowns +1 for 2022:

Fat Mike, "Mr. Clock Manager"
"Mr. Ed" Moore
Dak "The runner"
Philbin (who helped to end Zeke's status as a star)

Ah, normalcy. Onward to year 27 of fan frustration.

I’m not sure there’s a coach out there that can make Williams pancake someone

The odd thing about all this as that Philbin was once considered a REALLY GOOD OL Coach...that's where he cut his teeth in the (w/ GB under both Sherman and McCarthy)

Has he been using the same scheme here as his previous stints?

As I said, the next time any of you seem impressed by Jerry's passion and desire to win, remember how upset he was after we lost to San Fran.

He was so upset and bothered by what happened, he did absolutely nothing to fix some of the issues facing the team, the OL being one of them.

He thinks he and his son will work their magic come March and April with their bargain bin FA signings and the draft.

But let's be clear here. We are running back the exact same staff and we have cap constraints that makes it unlikely we can keep many of our FAs. The case can clearly be made that the team next year will actually be less talented than this one.

Well done, Jerry. You fool.

Couldn't have said it better, me boy.
When the 49ers came off the field, laughing, I said to meself: "Apple of the Library Lady's Eye, I am sure heads will roll! Fat Mac and Moore are ouuta here!"

Now I am wondering when Jerry passes out bonuses to these losers.

WOW. So we aren't making any changes. This staff is incapable of accepting fault and plan to place everything on the shoulders of the players. At least that is the direction they are moving by retaining everyone.

If he isn’t replaced it could cost MM his job. The guy is like having Alexander that half a year. The blocking scheme don’t seem to work and the penalties are unacceptable. Every big play or a ring play made me pause for a flag before you could celebrate them.. Part of that is coaching.

sorry but 12-5 is not incompetent. Believe me I want more but I don't see Dallas as a bottom feeder this past season. I do think more needs to be done obviously but I sure as hell would not be ditching coaches after putting together a pretty good season. How they are able to elevate this team to the next level or not will determine everything.
