It ain't hard to figure out. If you're gonna hire an offensive minded HC, at the very least that HC should have authority to run his offense.

If not, then that HC should NOT take the job.

Period.

If Payton takes the job it's only for the $$$$$$.......
He's not a spring chicken anymore and has nothing to really prove.....

While I would tend to agree with your money angle I still can't see Payton taking on Moore as part of his condition for accepting the job.

You're probably correct as Jerry will sell Payton as another Parcells story.
It won't last long as the Jones boys have massive EGO's and the love affair will end abruptly as it did with Bill.

They are definitely jokes but ones appropriate for a roast. Roast shows feature jokes that are either 'haha' with you or 'haha' at you. Those were of the latter variety.

Exactly. I think Bill's backstory had a recent divorce behind it if I remember correctly so his hiring did have some money motivation as well. It's just once Jerry undermined his authority/team discipline with Owens then Bill had his limits and that was the end of it.

I agree with ya.
I think Payton's longevity would run a similar course.

But I guess my point still stands that even with Jerry's meddling...

Payton ain't gonna further create this loser sideshow of Gallagher, Austin Powers and totally fake tough guy image as this current loser tries to pretend.

At the very least I do not think Sean Payton would embarrass the title of HC of the Dallas Cowboys as this current impostor does.

Just my opinion.

All of this thanks to all of you supposed "Cowboys fans" who have been harping on Coach McCarthy, Dak, Jerry Jones, etc. You all have taken the anti-Cowboys media's cheese and given them the fuel needed for them to constantly bash our team owner, coach(es) and players. That's such nonsense. As if the O-line doing their job would prevent Dak from being a disaster of a QB. You can't blatantly ignore that fact and expect to get away with it. Dak stinks as a QB and even he knows it. It's the real reason he refused to participate in the pro bowl events of last weekend. Being invited to participate in the skills challenge would have revealed how terrible he really is once again.
