Your obsession with Dak is well documented here. That you proclaimed Rodgers as "elite" - despite suffering the same fate as Dak - exposed it once more.

You congratulated Rodgers for accomplishing no more than Dak, because your obsession blinds you.

Joe Burrow was the 2021 MVP, and "thanks" for your all-too-predictable contributions.
Burrows didn’t perform at the same level throughout the season .

You’re going to use team accomplishments as only measurement? I’m sorry but thankfully that’s not how it’s done anymore than the HOF voting.

At least we have a new dance craze. The GB shuffle. Thanks AR.

Reminds of that other dance craze that's sweeping the nation, the Mahomes backwards shuffle.

They didn't watch him vs SF!!!!!
Since when do we use one playoff game as a measurement ?

I can only assume everyone didn’t watch him play all year. He was phenomenal. And why he was the front runner all year. Thankfully those who are voting aren’t swayed by one playoff performance .

But yea, SF game wasn’t a highlight reel.As always pressure can disrupt the Elite QB’s.

ill keep saying this

Either make an offensive and defensive mvp or rework the system

its been more than 30 years since someone other than a qb or rb has one it

MVQB...Grats to him but this award is hard to take seriously when none of the other positions on the field stand a chance.

It’s like asking to rethink the Heisman. It’s just not going to happen.

If you don’t want to recognize it that’s up to you.

When the league starts paying other positions like their QB perhaps we will give them more consideration.

Obviously there’s not a position the league overall believes is more valuable than QB.

Time to put Rodgers where he belongs that being...

Brady
Montana
Peyton
Rodgers

Think that is very realistic.
He definitely belongs in the discussion . While not as many rings his personal ability , talent and performance year in and out keeping GB as a serious contender is worthy of mention.

But there’s others that are worthy as well like Elway, Staubach to name a couple .

These are the level of QB that you’re never out of it.

Just goes to show that basing this award solely on the regular season is silly. Rodgers was so "valuable" his team scored 10 points and lost their only playoff game.

Joe Burrow resurrected a dormant franchise in Cincinnati and led them to the Super Bowl. No one was more "valuable" than him this season.

Tom Brady, the GOAT, only won three MVP awards.

Brady won a SB MVP only throwing for 145 yards and 1 TD and scoring only 20 points. His defense stopped one of the best offenses in the history of the NFL at the time holding them to 17 points. Rams' season average was 32 points a game that year.

That should tell you what a joke all these "MVP" awards are.

Yes and no. No doubt their defense was amazing . I agree to a certain extent. When that game was on the line in 4th qtr who led them to game winning drive ?

In the end this is a follow the ball league. And QB’s are considered most valuable and compensated accordingly. Until that changes don’t expect them not to be the most recognized.

I certainly see why Burrows should be in the mix and mention in competing for league MVP.
Only in just his 2nd year, and poised for the SB win, the dude is just awesome and will be easily one of the young stud QBs of this future NFL.

As far as the Reg season, i can see why Rodgers won it again, i wasn't shocked.
i've watched him throughout the season, and he was definitely MVP like...as far as the Reg season.

But ain't it always odd, that his Packers eventually thuds in the playoffs at some point or another? .. defense this year .. special teams that year ... etc.

Because his injury demonstrates just how much they needed him.

It's just a sarcastic perception of "most valuable player" and the way it is typically described. One way to determine it would be to see which team drops the most drastically after a player has been lost for the season. Wouldn't that be a demonstration of just how important he was?

I agree. When you add the playoffs, the picture becomes clearer. Easily Burrow over Rodgers. I'd say there's a case for Deebo Samuel or Cooper Cupp.

MVP award is useless and boring now. Every other position basically has to have historic or near historic numbers to even get consideration.

What NFL uniform will the part-time "Jeopardy" host be wearing next season?

Well if Dak played the second half of the year like he did the first half then we would be getting ready for a game Sunday.. But if the O-Line played the same then.. well. Or Moore called the games the same way or if the Defense played as aggressive then.. Blah blah..
