so the worst athlete on your teams did you support him or cut him.
I coached him up and played him. No parent should go to a game and watch their kid sit on the bench. If they practiced, they played. I had a kid go through most of the season without playing a down and I didn't realize it. When I did, I made a point to never let that happen again.

I disagree with Sanders on this one. We know the Cowboys aren’t going to show up in big games more often than not. They will underperform their regular season averages instead of rising to the occasion.

Does Deion remember this quotes from his last playoff season with the Cowboys?
After 20-7 playoff lost to Cardinals
Cornerback Deion Sanders said it might be time for a big player shakeup.
"You can't look in a mirror and be happy with the way we played," Sanders said following the loss. "It's time for some guys to step up or step out."
After 31-24 lost to New Orleans
Aikman said he remains optimistic about the future of the team.

"I think we have a bright future, sure," he told The Daily Oklahoman. "But I don't know where we're at exactly. I don't know how good we are. I don't know how bad we are. I don't know. We've been talking since October about running the table and going to the Super Bowl."

Sanders said he may not play if the Cowboys don't have a realistic shot at a Super Bowl.

"If I don't think there's a team inside that locker room going to the Super Bowl, I can't play," Sanders said. "I'm getting too old for this mess. I can't do it. If we don't feel we can put a team on the field that can win it all, there's no reason to play."

Sanders, however, was not in a rush to make any decisions right away.

"I might change my mind when I calm down," he told The Dallas Morning News. "And when I get my paycheck on Tuesday, I'll probably want to play."

There is a difference in what you were doing at that level, and in no way am I diminishing what you did, you were more than likely outperforming and being undpayed.
I suppose what is so aggravating coach is that the so called experts that get payed what they do, cant even recognize the basics it seems.
Lets keep it really simple here... stupid simple.
Number one super simple stupid question from Cowboys Nation...
Why cant this team run a successful screen play?

I don't get the "choked" thing. Dallas went 1-5 versus the West divisions. Five playoff teams came from those divisions. The only one Dallas beat, the Chargers, missed the playoffs.
the cowboys would have lost to the chargers if the chargers did not commit so many penalties in the redzone in that game.

I was one of the highest paid coaches in state of Texas.....I did things my way and never allowed anyone to interfere with my program.
As far as the football question, I see a lot of spoiled players and very little coaching. Players aren't being held accountable....I don't like to criticize my team, but that's my honest opinion.

I wasn't paid in the peewee league so I used aggressive playing to win the title 4 years in a row. here's one of my kids tackling a little dak. i would have cut the little undersize guy.

Every team in the NFL can say they won or loss because of that play or that penalty. Thats just sports.

Indeed, there are multiple errors on every snap that occur, its about the discrepancy that will always remain the true question.

Bet number 1 never makes that mistake again though.
Bet that kid learns to slide now.

This is just more of the tired argument that 1. A great QB needs a great oline to be great or 2. Troy Aikman was largely carried by his teammates and could not manufacture points when his supporting cast was not as good after some attrition (players and coaches).

And thus a defense for the way Dak was performing is kept alive. Dak largely played crappy ball since the Denver game. He’s got to be way better or it will be more of the same or worse seasons going forward with him.
Nobody is excusing blame away from Dak. The whole team did not show up to play in the playoffs. Everyone, including coaches, need to perform much better.
