Am I the only Cowboys Fan who has no interest in the USFL?

The last time I watched the USFL was back in the early 80s when the league first started. They were signing a lot of big-time college players like Herschel Walker, Reggie White and Steve Young. I found the league pretty entertaining then. I wouldn’t waste my time watching it now it’s nothing but a bunch of NFL rejects and players that aren’t good enough to make the NFL. Most of the teams are being led by QBs that went bust in the NFL. It’s nothing more than a scrub league that will end up folding again.

I went to a couple of L.A. Express games at the Coliseum when Steve Young was QB. The biggest draw of fans was the Generals game. It was nice to have front row seats for cheap.
One of my cousins still call it the USeless Football League LOL

The LA Express was pretty fun to watch when Steve Young was the QB. He had a game where he had over 300 yards passing and more than 100 yards rushing. The league went all out to sign the top college players to try and compete with the NFL.

That supposed to premiere on NBC in April which is supposed to be something for NFL fans to watch since the NFL is over. Who will actually watch this nonsense?
I won't be able to watch it. I barely can watch college football

It was a big push to sign top talent.

Compared to baseball, I welcome a new football league in Spring.

Here here.. I love football... I like the other sports.. but football is the one I love.. It's the one I told my wife before she married me that if she was thinking she could get me to give up football then she's clearly the wrong girl for me and we don't need to be getting married. I will watch the spring league just because I want to see what other guys are out there who might be worthy of an opportunity with the big guys. And you know there will be some.. We know the line play will suck.. but maybe we will get to see some skill players showing out..

I will watch and if there is quality play or some talented players that arise, I will follow.

The strange thing is which will turn off fans is that the plan to play all the games at two stadiums in Birmingham, Alabama. I would guess for cost reasons and to save expenses. Will be interesting if that strategy even if just for the fist year will help keep them afloat or lose the interest in the cities that have teems that don't play there at all.

I bet the Birmingham Stallions will be popular though ...lol

I used to like to watch some NFL Europe because in some ways it felt like the only minor-league system the NFL ever had. I remember those empty stadiums though, I guess it was the ‘other’ football they liked better. I haven’t looked much into the new USFL. College football is enough for me.

I won’t watch it at all. No interest. It’d be like watching minor league baseball. I’d go to a game but I wouldn’t watch on TV.
