Feel free to mention them. I was referring to the games highlighted.

Steelers in Pittsburgh. It was a back and forth battle all day. Romo even threw a pick meant for TO out of his endzone. The defense held them to three points. Late in the game, Romo, backed up toward his endzone tossed a pick to Witten who was double covered. This game was the Cowboys have arrived game. They scared the crapola out of the Steelers that day/ But the Cowboys lost it.

Jets in NY. Reavis was the best corner in the league. Romo throws a pass into double coverage, Reavis being in front of the receiver, Reavis picked it off. The very same play in Pittsburgh.

Detroit, just for fun. Bobby Carpenter was labeled Booby Carpenter on this site. He picked Romo twice, one for a pick six.

Washington. Late in his career, the last shot to make the play-offs. Late in the game he throws to the flat. Only problem is the linebacker was there and the ball went directly to him.

But the one that really stands out.

Denver. Manning at Texas Stadium vs Romo. There was no defense that day because both QB's were merciless. Late in the game, it was something like 49-49. Again, Romo standing in the shadow of his goalline. Clean pocket. He dumps the ball off to Witten. Problem is, Witten is triple covered right in front of him. To his left Murray is all alone. Romo throws the pick.

Now this site went ballistic about the defense that day. But the Dallas defense held Manning out of the endzone, and to a field goal. The hue and cry here was the defense was at fault.

But the defense did not throw that pick. Romo had been having his way with the Denver defense. But he made a bad decision. Just like so many in crunch time. He won games as well. I will not take that away from him,. But when the lights shined the brightest, he Favre'd the games.

Green Bay. Four minutes and change to go. Play-off game. Dallas was driving, but needed to make a fourth down play. Just move the chains, Tony. But he goes for it all.

Now the fan base here suggested that was a catch. This is a different argument. It was not a catch.

But giving the ball back to Green Bay, with 4 minutes left, even if that was a TD, was a prime example of Romo's thinking. Here is a play where he needed a couple of yards, yet he risked the entire post season on a deep pass.

After the fans blamed the refs. They blamed Murray. They blamed the defense. The culprits of every loss involving Romo on this site. He was good and could do some amazing things. But when it came to winning in a do or die situation. Not just a game, but perhaps a season, he drops the ball being centered, and no field goal was possible.

It was a reoccurring nightmare for Dallas. The one guy the fans counted in most, whiffed when he was most needed.

NY at Dallas. Play-offs. This game was lost not because of Crayton short-arming a pass. But the coaching staff running Barber on every play in the second quarter, and leaving Julius Jones on the bench. Barber was gassed, and a non factor in the second half. But when it comes down to the short hairs, and Romo has to score a TD or go back to Cabo, what was the results? I don't hold him fully responsible for that ending. But again, come big or go home.

Someone in this discussion claimed they were a realist. If you look at stats, Romo was magnificent. But if you are a realist, you have to look at results. That is the criteria the current QB is being graded by. And that guy is failing his test.

Having said all of this, I would have loved to see Romo take the reins back from that QB, and run out the string in the playoffs his last year. One last shot for the roses.

But, my expectations would lean toward his being injured, or worse, cementing his legacy of falling short.

Even the worst QB's in the world win if their defenses hold the opponent to less points. But there are times when the QB has top step up and win it himself. (See Below)

Again, I enjoyed his career, and liked Romo. But it is what it is.

Stafford did everything he could to throw the game away yesterday (albeit he did make some good throws). It's been a long time since the team that lost the turnover battle won that game.

Yeah he’s a TO machine for sure.

He dropped a big one on 3rd down near the end of the 3rd qtr too. This one here at the 1:12 mark of this video, they show it a few times...

I was at this game in the same corner end zone he let up on his route in the end. :(

Excuses Excuses....Romo had the ball in his Hands at the End = INT RW McQuarters....explain that?

No great running stats at the super bowl . Just top level QB and a pressing defense . Dallas has not special QB like that but the defense is improving, although it cannot stop the run .Kyler Murray alone had a field day against the cowboys .

That's for sure. Stafford's arm was almost the only offense the Rams had. Bengals really shut down their ground game. They knew he was going to pass because they couldn't run.

Yeah
1st QB in NFL to have 14 TD passes and ZERO interceptions in the 4th quarter for an entire season and playoffs

So not turning it over, normally, in crunch time.
In, the very in the league this year in 4th qtr in NOT doing it

I know you've been bashing him much of the season and playoffs.
Not sure why (its your right, I guess) but he did come thru in a big way

The 2nd interception was a tipped pass. I didn't think he did too bad, especially considering he had virtually no running game thanks to the Bengals defense. They knew he had to pass because they couldn't run.

After spending 12 years in a dormant franchise he’s finally provided an opportunity with a better team and coaching staff. What a difference it makes. And he made the most of it.

It reminds what Jim Plunkett, Steve Young and Doug Williams did going to a better team and winning a championship.

Too many times good QB’s aren’t afforded being on better teams. The personal numbers over the years supported Stafford was better than the teams he was on and this confirms it.
He got away with two interceptions. Burroughs was shut down in the second half. Just like Mahomes was shut down in the second half. Rams were lucky to have that go to guy. GOFF.

He didn’t do too good either. The MVP. Was the guy that should’ve been the MVP

Agree Kupp was the obvious MVP, but Kupp didn't throw the ball to himself......somebody did a good job throwing the ball to him, and it wasn't Burrow.........:)

I wasnt making excuses, you said he didnt drop it, he let up on the route...I was just explaining he had a huge 3rd down drop too. I think that was about the time everyone turned on Crayton.

Part of me would’ve loved to see him go to Denver after Dallas decided to go with Dak.

I was glad for Romo that he retired when he did, another broken bone and he might've regretted it for life. He seems to be happy with what he's doing now and he's good at it.

Aaron Donald was a one man wrecking crew on the LOS. He should have been the MVP.
