Oh, I think at the time I posted that, I was double parked in front of my third stop, with the truck unstrapped and open, waiting for the forklift operator to unload it. Meanwhile, the business across the already narrow street had trucks lined up on that side of the road, so there was only room for traffic to squeeze through one direction at a time, and everyone wants to be first.
Add to that, the sign on building reads, "Truck drivers: Please ring bell and wait for atention". (That's how they spelled it on two different signs.) After my third time ringing and waiting, I decided to just go inside, only to find out that the receiver wasn't in today. So the substitute forklift operator said he'd be right there, and 15 minutes later, he was.

So a 5 minute delivery took about 25 stressful minutes...But I just ate 4 slices of sausage, jalapeno, and pepperoni pizza, so I'm good now.

G'day Pops and all you confectioners, greeting card companies, florists and jewelers can jump up a goat's butt. Valentine's Day sucks.

I do like the St. Valentine's Day Massacre. My kind of bloody valentine.

However, coming up in just 22 days is Mardi Gras and I will embrace that and regale you with my stories of life on the bayou with my Cajun dialect.

However, I get Xelda celebrating the reduced chocolate. My former office manager used to get downright giddy the day after Valentine's Day and downright puffy two weeks later.

Reminds me of the day after Halloween at Walmart on the candy aisle. Oh, the carnage. People who just randomly mention the People of Walmart don't really appreciate it until they witness the day after Halloween or Valentine's Day, the reintroduction of Twinkies or Blue Bell Ice Cream back in the freezer. I used to see women gathered at the freezer, like those at the gates of Graceland on Death Day, so forlorn and longing. I thought "damn, to be loved like Blue Bell is to be truly loved".

Good morning Pops and happy hump day to you.

We had a few inches of snow late last night and early this morning. Now just brilliant sunshine and about 28 F.

The music choice while snow plowing is definitely Enya with a bit of Israel Kamakawiwoʻole's "Somewhere Over the Rainbow", George Harrison's "My Sweet Lord" and, just to show my music diversity, Frozen's "Let it Go".

And, to think my wife wonders why I spent so much time snowplowing.
