Romo and him have more in common. They both need to buy tickets to reach a SB.

give the 4th round rubbish a rest
He’s paid like an elite QB so those excuses are finished
We his guy needs all pros at every position, it’s not going to happen
I’m not going to “drop it”. He was a fourth rounder for a reason.

Getting paid has no bearing on performance. You can’t pay someone a ton of money and expect them to play better, that’s a very stupid management decision. But that’s not on Dak, that’s on Jerry for overpaying him.

Martin is the only consistent top-rated OL we have. Tyron missed tons of games, Lael is decent but definitely not an elite player like Martin. The rest have been terrible.

Who the heck actually wants Connor Williams and Tyler Biadasz to remain our starting interior OL?

Smith is running on fumes at this point, we’ll need a permanent replacement for him soon. Hopefully that Ball guy or whoever can develop.

The cowboys o-line pass-blocking efficiency is still rated on top.

This will be a hard sell to those who watched the games...PFF has a slant but there are 5 guys who have to block not just 2 or 3. If you have 2 major holes in it it doesnt drag the PFF score down enough to show what actually happened on the field. And again I'm not one that believes a team needs 5 all pros to move the ball, but for the love of god why do we not cover our weaknesses on the line better. When you know the LG is outmatched and the center is outmatched..scheme to cover it.

I don’t care what the numbers say, I care what happens on the field. Weren’t we like a Top 3 yardage/scoring offense this season? How did that work out in the playoffs?

Fact is, our LG/C duo was a weakness for the majority of the season, not to mention the false starts and holding calls committed by the whole line.

I used to make the same arguments about Tony Romo on another site. People act as if they know what wins championships. They spouted utter trash from their mouths about
Tony had this aw shucks expression, He went to Cabo (Jason Witten went too),on and on. When the truth is nobody knows what's going to happen from year to year, game to game. That's football.
The facts are these Tony was a Great QB. Now Dak's jury is still out but he is a good qb. It takes more than qb play to win championships. It helps a great deal. Let's get a DT a LB a Oline man in the draft or in F.A
and see what happens. Pissin and whinin about Jerry about Dak about McCarthy is just that Pissin and Whinin. I look forward to next season with hope and anticipation. Shoot why would I watch just to be pissed off .
I'd straight up stop watching.

Go Cowboys

Coaching and Dak is why they lost in the playoffs.

Can I interview him?
1. why are you holding the ball when there's receivers open?
2. can you move out of the pocket or are you protecting your ankle?
3. Defenses are giving you the outside and crowding the middle how are you going to beat it?

How many of Troy Aikman’s OL sucked during the 92-95 run? Must’ve been nice to have a HOF RB and HOF WR to depend on, too.

I know Aikman is a far superior QB, but even he had a lot of elite talent on O and D to help him win 3 rings, not to mention a HOF coach who knew how to build and discipline a team.

Montana didn't? Steve Young? Farvre in GB? Back in the 80's 90's , you could stack talent b/c it was harder for players to move around the league. There was no cap. No free agency in the form we see today. The only way to build a team was through the draft and coach them up. Sure Aikman's teams had a lot of talent, but so did the other good teams of that era. The talent in the NFL is spread so thin today, I doubt any of the post 2000 super bowl champs could have lined up against the better teams of the 80's or 90's and won.

This is what you wrote.

So it is your position that the Rams gave up two first round draft picks, a third round pick and Goff to get Stafford even though "everyone is capable with a stacked team"?

That doesn't seem reasonable.
Exactly

Am I wrong? No, I’m not. Aikman was a superior QB than Dak, and he had better teams and coaching.
