I grew up in NYC so I know who Russo is. Never listened to sports radio though. Did he play in the league? If so, then he'd have my respect. That's worth a helluva lot. Lol.

So according to Mad Dog the measurement for QBs is how many playoff games they win? It has nothing to do with the teams they play for or the opposition they face?

What's disheartening to me is the extremely clear difference when this team plays a quality team vs the rest.

Neither one has won the big one but Kirk has come up empty in far more big ones and notoriously absent in prime time games. Dak is better than that.

Ha...of course he didn't play....most of the lead people in the media did not.

This past year, no doubt.

Problem around here is, even if they get those fixed another set of problems will arise next season.

It's how it's been for a while.

Reactive, not proactive.

But in your mind is Dak capable of winning the big one? I go back to the GB playoff game in 16, starts slow makes some big mistakes the team is unable to overcome resulting in an early exit. The 17 season was a wash with the Zeke suspension and oline issues. In 18 wins his first playoff game plays pretty solid to get the win. In 19 has two flops one gains NE the other against your team of backups in a win and you’re in situation. Then his flops this year which I think stand out a little more than the others. I’m not hating on the guy but you just don’t have a really good feel for which version of Dak is going to show up. Let me ask you this, would you feel confident going into the playoffs with the current roster the birds have with Dak as your QB? I just am starting to believe he needs way too much around him to win and with his current salary that’s gonna be hard to do. Hopefully not but I think we may start to see the result of that this coming season. With the 3 first round picks you guys have if Howie doesn’t blow them and with picking up a solid vet WR I have you guys as the front runners to win the division.

Stack the team enough and I think there are 15-20 QBs in the league who could do it. Prescott, Carr, Cousins, Tannehill, Garoppolo… put those guys on the Pats and they probably win the AFC, NE almost had the number 1 seed with a rookie QB. Put those guys on one of the generationally loaded teams of the last 20 years and sure they have a shot at winning something

Actions speak louder than words. When the rubber hits the road, Dak gets flustered and-- seemingly-- overwhelmed. Noone's going to listen to a hapless QB. Brady/Mahomes types are leaders because those around them know they can lead them to the promised land. Dak will lead you to some really great regular season NFC East wins.

Cousins did lead the Vikings over a Rodgers-led Packers team, and he threw for over 300 with 3 TDs and 0 ints.
That was good Cousins. We got bad Cousins.
Cousins has played with a worse oline than Dak for most of his career, but he has had otherwise good weapons, as has Dak.

I'm fine if someone prefer Dak or Cousins....they seem in similar tiers to me

In other words, I don't care what media says. I (and you) can make up our own minds.
