For all the deniers that paste statistics without context to claim Dak wasn’t struggling or just lazily attribute his struggles directly to his calf injury to excuse his play…

From NFL.com

Dak's play sunk after a Week 6 calf injury, but his struggles ran deeper than the injury. "I wouldn't say it lingered as long as people gave me the excuse of it," Prescott said on The Rich Eisen Show during Super Bowl week. "I went through a period of time during the season where I just didn't play my best ball."

Dak just doesn’t trust his arm. He’s too turnover adverse. If the receiver is open he throws it. He doesn’t trust himself to throw the 50/50, back shoulder and tight window throws unless it’s too late. That’s why you see a different Dak in the fourth quarter when they are down. He has no choice but to try those types of throws.

He was struggling, but I still believe it had to do with the calf injury. His play before the injury and after the injury were starkly different. Sure, some of it may have been because of defensive adjustments, but he also just simply missed throws he was making before the injury.

Can the Cowboys at least draft some Oline help in 2022 that don’t have “ redshirt freshmen “ written into the contract . Are Josh Ball and Farniok contributors or practice cannon fodder ? I know to geniuses like Joe King on this board Oline play has nothing to do with QB play but Burrow & Mahomes the last 2 SB losing QB’s might think differently .

*Yawn*... Dak’s still a top 10 QB, and top 10 QBs are good enough to win big with the right team around them. A productive run game and not leading the league in penalties (14 in the playoffs) would help.

Did you people just magically forget about how Aaron Rodgers, Tom Brady and Patrick Mahomes each lost to inferior QBs this postseason?

Stafford won a ring. Stafford.

Same old story. Fix the OL. Go back to running the ball. Boom! Just like that you will have a better QB. Just like the first few games.
We stupidly rode Zeke on his torn PCL over the more productive RB in Pollard.

Nobody talks about how anemic our run game was vs the 49ers or the FOURTEEN penalties that crippled us all game.

Fix THOSE problems and Dak is back to playing great football. Team sport.

The incessant need to keep trotting Zeke out on the field post injury remains unexplainable.

Only if you chose to develop selective blindness during certain games
How many times were the OL shifted around? How many games did Tyron miss?

How many different defenses where the offensive game plan sucked and DID NOT adjust?

How's the OL coach fairing?

Penalties were thru the roof. Daks fault? Zekes fault? Pollard's fault?

You wear obtuse well.

Your post is chock full of irony rather than truth.

The predominant problem with the Cowboys is one that isn't destined to be dealt with. The management under Jerry and Stephen is one that denies their own mismanagement of their team. They're stubbornly determined to maintain the team's status quo, as if everything is fine. That is simply not so. The problems that linger are conveniently dismissed by those responsible.

The Dallas Cowboys' FO under Jerry and son refuses to be accountable for their inability to make sound football decisions. Stephen does much the same with regards to his salary cap and player contractual mismanagement. Their over-inflated egos simply refuse to admit the truth of their limitations.

Dysfunctional mismanagement has long been something that simply isn't accountable with the Dallas Cowboys front office. General managers around the NFL are well aware of this ongoing scenario and find it a good subject to ignore, since it suits their purposes. Many fans are well aware of it but feel quite helpless to do anything to change things. Meanwhile, frustration over inadequate handling and mismanagement lingers unattended, evidently a hopeless and ongoing problem.
