I'm not twisting. I am replying to your WHOLE comment not just part of it. So Dak is the only guy that gets "trashed" eh?

1st off...as the QB, alleged bona fide "leader", certainly defacto leader...it's only natural that he bears the brunt of criticism.

And certainly other players/coaches/owner have had their fair share. "Zeke is fat".....never saw that one? Zeke gets his share! Remember Jaylon? How about Jerry himself? "Fat Mike"....good name for our coach...not disrespectful at all.

I stand by my comment. In order to satisfy you....we need to first go through the whole trash list, then once that is done we can talk about and assess Dak.

Then you make up this "hoping Dak doesn;t succeed"...is pretty silly. As if they would not be happy with a Super Bowl or even deep playoff run? Ridiculous. Even Mountaineer gave Dak credit early in the season. It would be more fair to say they "don;t think THE COWBOYS succeed with Dak".
As Cowboys fans we all want Dak to succeed.I don’t think people are rooting against him.If anybody is, then they’re not a true fan.People just want him to play better.

Same tired and recycled talking points. All I said was that the offense INCLUDING PRESCOTT!!!! - deserves criticism, not just one player. Pretty simple stuff. Thread after thread turn into a hit piece and it's lazy.

If you are blind and obvilious to fans here who witch hunt the living crap out of Prescott - you're being obtuse. They are clearly routing for him to fail. It's obvious.

Your opinion isn't fact. Expecting him to be the best QB in the NFL is one thing, not accepting him being around top 10 QB is the problem. "Like he should" is silly conjecture that varies. And all of this takes away from the point I made, which is par for the course around here.
Yeah, he certainly has played like 40 million dollar QB.

Google market value. I have no desire to debate when you are going to change the argument. Are we going to admit that he should have gotten a bonus on his rookie contract for going above and beyond?
Of course not.

The "hoping Dak fails" thing is said by people that just can't accept what Dak is but still wants a reason to argue with people that have accepted what Dak is.

Nobody hopes Dak fails. Because that would mean the Cowboys fail. Recognizing that Dak isn't a great QB is simple. Nobody needs him to fail to be right, because Dak's play on the field does the talking for them.

I want to be wrong, and I admit, I bought into the fools gold at the beginning of the season when he was playing well, but never again will I be fooled by just a few games.

Dak says something positive about himself.
"Dak is fool of it. He's clueless. What a loser."

Dak says something negative about himself.
"See I told you. Even Dak knows he sucks. He said it himself"

Typical Dak bashing troll's post.

I think some of the responses in this thread perfectly illustrate the point of the thread.

Here we have Dak saying himself that the calf wasn’t as big a deal as some people made it out to be and also admitted he wasn’t playing his best ball at certain points.

But you STILL have fans that say “naaaaaah, I don’t believe that….”

There are more denying that the entire offense, players and coaches underachieved. Many aren't willing to even talk about it.

This weak crusade of "The QB is just a piece of the bigger machine" that you're pushing is not going to work for the informed people around here.

The informed know that the QB is the engine and the most important part of the machine. When the engine fails nothing else works. If Blake Jarwin plays bad nobody would notice, because he's not an important piece. When Dak, as the QB and engine fails, everyone notices and the team suffers for it.

You can try and deflect blame away from the most important player on the team all you want, but you will continue to be wrong about this.

If Dak can accept it why can't you?

Informed? You? Lmao, that's hilarious. Your point that other positions on offense is telling. Complete BS too. You mean that if Jarwin plays bad YOU wouldn't notice because your ability to reason is limited. All you do is trash Prescott, that's your mission here. You bring absolutely nothing to the table but the same rinse and repeat BS.
You also ignore points made and twist them. I never once deflected blame, what I have maintained is that the entire offense, players & coaches were inconsistent. That's too deep for you to diagnose. You have Prescott tunnel vision.

You're not going to sound like you know what you're talking about by acting like the QB is just another piece when the QB is THE piece. That's why the get paid the real big bucks. I'm just giving you advice, so you don't come off looking clueless about football.

You were called out earlier in this thread for your "let's bash everyone else first then we can talk about Dak" narrative you're trying hard to push.

You can say what you want about me, but I'm clearly not the only one here that sees through your incredible biased narrative.

Dak will have the entire off season to work on his game. Last off season his time was spend on rehab not physical training and improving on his game. He will get that chance this off season his personal trainer John Beck

7th years a charm!

Maybe, just maybe, in year 7 he'll finally be able to get out of the shadow of his rookie season.
