About as long as a quality S. It’s amazing. The organization completely discounts those 2 positions.
They tried Poe & what a disaster that was. They drafted Bohani this year and didn’t do much as a rookie.Safety position was better than it has been in a long time this year w/ Hooker and Kearse.I’m not a fan of Kazee.Maybe, just maybe we’ll use a prime draft pick on a quality safety or a big boy in the middle or both.

i think Dak should be Involved in a part of personnel moves - to a certain degree.
Get his observations and input, while also involving his coaches.

If he needs new OL guys, that factors immensely in how the teams choses to acquire those OL guys, per coaches.
But it should be up to the personnel guys first while going thru the A) coaches... B) QB

If going thru the QBs, ironically i've seen it go different directions with certain pinpoint draft prospect players:
- Joe Burrows supposedly made a verbal push for WR Chase instead of OT Pewell.
- Troy Aikman supposedly made a verbal push for TE bust David LaFleur (per 1st rd
)

I could be wrong but I got the impression he was talking about additional personnel ( players ). The way I'm reading, it's more scheme (playbook) and trying to keep certain teammates. In other words, I'm sure if he had his way, Coop, Gallup, and Shultz would return. So I don't it has anything to do with him trying to be GM as some are implying.

LOL dude is Russel Westbrook, Carmelo Anthony, James Harden. A high priced stat machine that plays loser ball. You gotta win something before you get to be Lebron James. At this point that guy on his contract is as much of a detriment to the team as he is a benefit. Maybe next time win the game instead of pooping your 40 million dollar baby pants on the last drive.
Love this post and great comparisons.Well said!!!!

Burrow was a #1 draft pick. At that point, he was not a multi-year failure, he still had the clout to ask favors. After this past season, they'll probably be asking him for his input, instead of him asking them.

And asking the FO to draft a former teammate is a lot different than asking to be involved in personnel decisions.

Dak has one playoff win in 6 years. In the stat that matters most, he's near the bottom of the league. The only thing that keeps his job is salary cap ramifications of his contract. If Dallas could cut him, Dak would be - at best - fighting for a job in Miami or Carolina or someplace else that doesn't have a QB.
Just because he's the number 1 pick means NOTHING and Dak is a multi year failure lmao. You are LITERALLY not in touch with reality or the NFL if you don't think k PLENTY of teams would want Dak. He's not the best but FAR from the worst lol ! Thank you though I needed that laugh!!

Lmao man you got me going over here, so what does Burrow being a number 1 pick mean when it comes to that...... and Dak is a multi year failure. So does playoff wins matter or just SB. Because I can think of alot of good players who are technically multi year failures!. You really don't know the NFL or dont pay attention. But there are Plenty of teams that would take Dak not just Mia and whatever, Phi, nyg, we, Mia, panthers, saints, steelers, browns, Vikings, Seahawks, hou, indy etc

People don't actually read articles. They just react to headlines. It does make for some funny responses, though.

Lol, I think this thread also shows how little of the thread people read, they only respond to people that respond to them. Not one person (I am on page 7 now) has responded to anyone who told them to read the story.

he was ASKED THE QUESTION, read the dang article he didnt approach the FO or the media about this they approached HIM> his response was the correct one.
The correct response would have been " I need to get better as a quarterback"

I just do not get the attack on Prescott any time he says anything, it is the same people over and over who will look for fault. To prove what? they hate Dak? we know this already and making stupid statements anytime he says something does not show poorly on Dak it shows how pathetic some are around here. Talk football and stay out of the mindless attacks.

I couldn't agree more, why start a thread like this when you know it's just going to trigger mindless attacks from those just looking for any excuse to behave that way.

Stick to talking football like you say and don't stir the pot of Dak hate.

He'd want to see that enough of his receivers are left for him to have a fair shot at success.
I can't really blame him for that. :flagwave: A couple of offensive linemen might do the trick, too.

So I read the article. Don’t see what the big deal is with anything Dak said. Why is this even a story? lol

The guy has his flaws as a QB and I am no blind to his limitations (or the ramifications of his contract)— but this much hate for what’s in the article?

We just need to step back off the ledge a bit lol
