Learning a new offensive philosophy could be bad for him. But change can sometimes be good. Might take a year to get used to it but maybe a new OC would really help when the offense seems to struggle.

It's been that way for years long before Dak got here.
Ray Lewis used to joke about it.

Dak has gotten paid and has no desire to learn a new system. That would be more off-season work on him Way easier for him just to try and improve his play within the system He's in.

He's on the Garrett process. I'm sure in just a few more years, he'll be where he should have been in 2018.

- Only way i could see it differently is if our offense continues to go thru the same slump that haunted us for 2nd half vs the more competitive teams and finale playoff game.
i could see the frustrated Jones demanding McCarthy heavily insisting on the HC intervene and help the hapless Moore with "strong" suggestions and play design.

- Forget it MM is not gonna take over the entire offense and call plays - just" asked "by upper management to throw some kinks and added designs (ala run game and RBs receiving)
i think this particular current HC is just as too much of a disadvantage and overwhelming if he was to be asked to be both overseer HC and offensive play caller.

dak likes his guys and his coaches lol. He is just like jerry.

They will do same things with same guys and coaches and expect different results.

He said what he was expected to. He isn’t going to pull a rogers and throw MM under the bus.. Not yet at least..
