Agree completely. Being a fan since the 70s I spent 20 years watching the Cowboys expect to go yearly and play in many. I feel bad that young fans just know this 26 year wasteland. We need one of those “everything goes right despite Jerry” years

……I’d settle for the Danny White days. Danny gets a lot of crap around here but his team played 10 playoff games in 8 seasons.

we’ve had 4 in the last 7 seasons……1 whole win.

But, ole Danny ALSO had the best all-time Dallas Cowboys HC in history, Landry. IF White was that good, he'd have more pro bowl appearances in 12 years than just one.

Proof again, it's all about the coaches!

Bruce Arians head Coached for 7 years and had 1 whole playoff win……and along comes Tom Brady and he gets 5 playoff wins in 2 seasons including a SB championship…….yup, all about the coaching.

I maintain that it takes both , but that a baller QB or a genius HC can sometimes overcome the others deficiencies.

Legendary Don Shula coached 9 time Pro Bowler Dan Marino ten seasons and couldn’t deliver a single SB victory

BTW, one would think that our 2 time Pro Bowl QB could deliver more than 1 playoff win….jus sayin.;)

We've been eliminated from our last two playoffs first and foremost because we couldn't stop the run. If you think we should have been able to with the players we had on the field then you don't know what you're talking about.

Other than QB, our roster is good enough to win. Cincinnati is a prefect example of the type of roster we have.

After seeing Chidobe Awuzie and Eli Apple starting in the SB it really made me think if we only had a DT like Larry Ogunjobi (7 sacks from the interior) we might advance in the playoffs

We've given up like 400 yards rushing in our last two playoff games, both losses. As long as teams can do that to us we stand no chance at advancing.

Our DTs are garbage.

Yup. We don't chase guys like him in FA. I think they paid him 7 mil.

And no, Cincy is a polar opposite type team. They have a top 5 DL and the best NT in the game.

Running and lost. , who cares about the run game. QB and coach is what matters

Cincy and LAR were there in large part because they can stop the run. Do you really not comprehend this? Pretty weird, dude.
