Oh man, Everclear. That word makes me shudder. I remember dabbling in that as a young man.

You actually cannot buy it in Idaho. So, we would make a trip over to Ontario, Oregon (only about 45 minutes from Boise) and snag Everclear there. Then we would bring it back and mix it with Gatorade. Cheap and affective back then, but today I'm sure that stuff would probably kill me. lol

I know I read somewhere that mixing Gatorade with vodka or everclear, is like, bad.lol something to do with electrolytes

Rum 151, ugh. Hurricane Ike was about to hit here and my then gf wanted to have hurricanes, so she bought the mix and a bottle. 3 drinks in we were both stone drunk, and we were both pro drinkers, turned out the mix already had 151 in it.lol. Slept through that storm

I’m a big fan of JD honey. It’s a good sipping whiskey. Stands on its own. Goes down a little too easy sometimes.

Stuff made me streak a Howard Johnson and knock on doors wearing only football cleats to announce that I was streaking An older lady asked me if I wanted to streak in her room.

Haven’t shopped for liquor lately, but a buddy said that they are removing the Russian vodkas off the shelves? No harm, I stopped drinking Russian imported vodka after reading an article about how much the Russian Mob dilutes that stuff. LOL

I read something that said alot of "Russian vodka" isn't actually made in Russia anyway lol

I have become addicted to Screwball Peanut Butter whiskey. Strange sounding I know but if you like something different you have to try this stuff out. Only get the Screwball brand. The other PB whiskeys are not good.

It's spelled with a k. Skrewball. My state liquor commission doesn't find close spellings.

Funny, I just ate at a restaurant that had a special Old Fashioned that they made with Skrewball Peanut Butter whiskey. I'll have to try it next time.

If you like PB you are going to be happy. I put it in the freezer. Drink it straight up. It’s great. There is a PB and Chocolate blend from Ballotin which is good too. That’s sweet but good also. Enjoy.

Skrewball is the best of you haven’t tried it. Give that a shot.

I will also say there is an ex-Unit guy, John McPhee. He has an outfit called SOB tactical. He has a website called Booze and Views. He reviews whiskeys and chimes in on current events. The videos are short but he gives good booze recommendations and of course hearing a tier one pipe hitter talking current events is always entertaining. Check that out.
