IMHO, most of our offensive problems were due to the OL and play calls that made us lean more on Dak. Fix LG and C, expand the playbook, and let them find their groove.

The Colts would be the perfect trade partner. They don't have a 1st or 2nd round pick this year and have the cap space to take on Coopers contract. If they let him hit free agency they would be outbid by other teams with more cap space. I would take Indys 3rd for Cooper. They need someone to pair with Pitman.
Coop's better than any WR they would hope to get in the 3rd from the draft.

They still love Parris Campbell. Don't sleep on him there

I can’t believe Cooper is only 27 years old. It feels like he has been around the league forever.

Definitely one of the Cowboys best players over the last few years.

He and Calvin Ridley are both 27.

Cooper was in the NFL when Ridley a freshman at Alabama and both were 21

What a mess. Trade for the guy. Give him a contract. Fail to win a playoff game for the 40th year In a row, then Release him.

It would be the next in a long line of Jerry "Dumbo GM" Jones decisions since firing a back to back Super Bowl winning Head Coach, passing on a generational Hall of Fame WR, trading 2 no.1 picks for a WR that never made a Pro Bowl, trading a no.1 pick for a WR on a 0-16 team, etc....

Again, no one has challenged me to explain why the Arlington Jonesboys GM entered the 2018 season saying the Cowboys never had a no.1 WR, had to trade for a no.1 WR (Cooper), could not win until they got the no.1 WR, and that no.1 WR has made the Pro Bowl every year since becoming a Dallas Cowboy until he was underutilized by the Arlington Jonesboys Country Club membership in 2021. Why was he underutilized. Why never in Amari Cooper professional career, he had to ask to be more in the offense to help the team win in 2021.

Also, please tell me how can Amari Cooper catch 92 passes for +1100 yds with Prescott out for the season, having Ben Dinucci, Andy Dalton, and Gilbert at QB put up a great year? Then all of a sudden with the Star QB comes back, he does not get targets, and the season nearly melts away after a great start featuring Amari Cooper as a no.1 WR?

The Cee Dee Lamb draft pick was dumb and the Arlington Jonesboys have been trying to justify it. They needed and still need defense (still see opponents rush for 4.5 yds per carry or better the last 2 years). Cooper is just flat out better than Lamb. Will always be better than Lamb. The best Lamb can be is the Hill and Harper to Pearson and Irvin Cooper was better as collegian and better as a Pro. This is why the Arlington Jonesboys will never be the Dallas Cowboys. As Jimmy Johnson said "Its a Country Club" not a football team. Let Cooper go so he can go to a Super Bowl like Anthony Hitchens, Chavarious Ward, Damian Wilson, Awuizie, Demarcus Ware, Chris Canty, Stanback, Martellus Bennett, Claiborne, Nzeocha, Taco Charlton, and up next....

Since its become clear our 'genius' OC is no such thing, time to jettison players that he failed.

Just plain stupid.

You are better than this. I know you hate Dak but Amari had his best season playing with Dak. The truth is Amari was inconsistent. I question his work ethic too. Be better.
only a true moron questions Amari Coopers work ethic. But then from you....

Because Gallup is a poor mans Alvin Harper, he is not a #1 never has been, never will be. CeeDee may never be a number 1 either. Gallup is much easier to replace than cooper since well Gallup is not under contract.
let's remember the talk now is they can sign Gallup and Cedrick for the same price of keeping Amari....Coop's contract will make it next to impossible to trade him. Time to cut losses, and Gallup is young, and if the focus of the offense he can still blossom. Not quitting on him yet, not even close

The team can’t get better and keep a 20 million dollar WR. It’s the absolute right decision.
