Can someone tell me what Dez did in the NFL after he was cut by the Cowboys? Just curious, if he was so good tell me about all that success he had elsewhere.
Dallas thrashed his rep. Then dez basically retired. Sounds like he’s had offers and has focused on other stuff for the most part.

unles you think he’s lying and that’s just ego talking

I'm not defending Prescott at all, but let's not act like Dez was the same player he once was when he was cut. There's a reason he isn't on a roster right now.

Dez wasn't offered a tenth of what he was making here once he was on the open market.

Dez was broken by the time we cut him.
Amari is still open nearly every play

I like Dak but he’s a guy that needs everything around him to be great… he can’t make a play or a drive to win but he can’t carry a team.

and yes our cheap ownership will scapegoat Amari.. that’s what they do. Oh you can get out of big money on a player, do it. It if they have to take a hit they’ll keep said player till the end. They basically ain’t about winning, it’s about bottom lines.

I mean he had multiple tryouts over the years and never got signed. The only team to give him a chance was Baltimore for one year when they had the worst WR group in the NFL and he could not stand out on that unit and then despite saying he wanted to play 2 more years could not find another team to take him.

Incorrect. He signed with the New Orleans saints as well. Tore his Achilles in his first practice iirc

the guy was a baller. This team used to have ballers. I used to jump out of my chair watching them

Dez was close to done when the Cowboys released him. Check out his numbers after he left. Cooper still has a lot left.

So we're blaming Dak for the incompetence of the Cowboys front office? Dak did what anyone would do when offered life changing money - he took it.

Cutting Dez, paying Dak, and now (apparently) cutting Cooper is entirely on the Jones boys. Can't wait to see what brilliant moves they make next.

No he cried, threw a temper tantrum and sent his goon(brother) to try and shake the tree.

Well it worked. Now he's back to being a nice good guy who's just out here trying so hard to be all he can for the cowboys.

Never liked Amari! But have always liked Jon Gruden. I knew there was something wrong with Amari if he was letting him go. Well now we see why. He is lazy and often sits out due to little injuries. He is a good player when he wants to be but he is no leader and disappears against good teams. The latter may be Daks fault though.

To cover up for Dak and his 40mil contract, we keep scapegoating good players. First it was Dez Bryant who was the all-time leader in TDs for the Cowboys, now we are scapegoating Amari Cooper.

How many more WRs have to be sacrificed to cover up Dak Prescott's throwing inability.

Dez was a cancer. He had good numbers but he started thinking he was bigger than football. I don't think that was a good comparison. Cooper did what ANYONE of us would do...get as much money as you can. Cooper may not be worth the 20mil but if his agent got it for him...good for him. If anything, I would look at Zeke. He has not played worth the money he's making and I'm a Zeke fan but his performance does not warrant his pay. I would ask Zeke to take a pay cut.

Zeke somehow is untouchable. I don't understand it. He asked for money early......Got It. His production continued to dip. He plays an unimportant position in football and the Cowboys have doubled down saying he is safe from any kind of changes. That's incredibly odd to me.

I’m actually a Dak fan but what they did to Dez was so disrespectful…he got all the blame for some awful passes by Dak. I remember thinking that Dak honestly can’t throw certain passes, like the back shoulder pass was a staple for Dez and Dak couldn’t throw it. Also his jump balls were bullets.

I like Dak.. he’s gotten better since then but Dez that last season was treated like crap.

He must have embarrassing recordings/pictures of Jerry or someone in his family and has it ready to be leaked if the Cowboys wrong him.

Probably. :D

Comparing Dez with WRs from the pre WCO era is lame . Romo made Dez by convincing him to abandon his health and become a jump ball specialist. It saved Romo too.
