I agree to a degree with what you are saying, but I am curious. You talk about accountability, and that's why Wentz gets the boot. But at what point would it have been appropriate for Dak to get benched or traded?

I would have let him walk instead of giving him a contract.

I would have started looked for a real QB after his horrible 2017 season.

Okay, fair enough. Nothing wrong with looking for better options. I just wonder if we would have found it. Think about it for a minute. This team wanted to take Paxton Lynch. I don't trust them to draft a QB. They got fortunate with how Dak played.
