Will keep an eye on whether Cooper connects better with Mayfield than Beckam Jr.

Guess they wanted him gone so bad they gave him away. At least we aren’t retaining any salary.

Its funny though you guys speak so highly of Amari yet the best deal we could do was a 5th rounder for him. Why didn't the Eagles offer a 4th or a 3rd? Or the Ravens? These franchises clearly see what many people don't.
They are saying Cleveland was the only team willing to take on his complete contract. They had better offers for picks but would have to eat cap space

Hey a fifth round pick is better than nothing. But I agree we have to have the worst front office in the league.

You have the feeling if we were to open up trade talks for Micah Parsons we'd start negotiations with a 2nd round ask.
They may be able to strangle a 3rd round pick for him, but they would have to add Diggs in there too.

We fans just don’t know jack. We’re as bad as the ownership. All I heard was how great Amari Cooper is. How all these teams would love to have him. Well.. not at 20 m per year. And that was always the problem. Teams with tons of cap space that need a WR didn’t want to trade for him. And that’s the smart thing to do when you’ve got a loaded WR class to choose from. Dude was extremely overrated by this fan base. Glad it’s done.

I’m not upset about trading Cooper, Dallas needed to get something in return. What is frustrating though is they will use that savings and give most of it to Gallup which will be a mistake. Now, use that money to get Wagner is ideal but these guys just compound mistakes on top of another.

This is on Kellen Moore as much as anyone.

His inability to create plays for his top players just cost Dallas a really good WR.
Yeah I don't think that was the case.

We complain about this front office not being able to right their wrongs or sticking with players too long. They finally make the right move and people can't accept it because of whatever fandom they have of Cooper. I like Coop. I'll even root for him. Seems like a cool guy to me. But he represents the Garrett culture. La'El Collins too. We should be perfectly fine with them moving on from guys from that era.

A fifth and sixth round pick. Absolute joke this front office is. They have zero idea of what they are doing. Idiots . All of them. The entire league should laugh at this front office.
It is really just a 5th. We are sending them a 6th round pick along with Cooper, so that’s basically a wash.

Cutting him or having a team pay his 20 million, out of those two at least they got rid of his salary..but just don’t see the real need to
Move him

Someone had to take the playoff loss sword......next it will be Lawrence......then we will lose Gallup, Wilson and LVE in free agency.

But hey....we will get that Kazee fairly cheap......

So Dallas got
  1. 16 mil in cap space in 2022 (by far the main thing)
  2. 18 million cap space in 2023
  3. 20 million cap space in 2024
  4. a 5th
  5. move up a few spots in the 6th

Cant believe this.. Jerry and Stephen traded Cooper away for chump change...and keeping a wasted old DLAW for 27mil CAP HIT in 2022.....WTH are the JONES BOYS doing to the Cowboys....

Lamb is under his rookie deal.....he won't be "sacrificed" lol.
As usual you ignored the context and missed the point. I'd try and explain it to you but we both know you're more interested in being right than getting it right.
