There were some who said a second was no problem, many teams wanted him, you will not hear from him in this thread he took a beating on that thread.
It's like, you tell these guys over and over that high salaries are hard to trade, and they still don't comprehend.

You could move #s around to open money you didn't have cut no one. Once WRs start falling from the sky due to injury you can trade him away then when value is up. If this was the other way around we would have given a 2nd no doubt.
They clearly were adamant on cutting Cooper. There was no way he was coming to this team next season and eventually we will find out why that was the case.

Its a steal for the Browns though..just being honest, now the real question is what in the heck did Amari do to anger the football gods..Raiders, Cowboys, Browns...thats a who is who list of horribly run teams.
I think its a steal for sure. I think its a good move for them especially if it can help Baker out. But I also understand why the Cowboys are ready to move on.

Just shows you how clueless we fans are. That people actually thought teams would be interested in this guys 20 m per year contract.

The Browns inherit a contract that is high, but not guaranteed. The renegotiate the deal for guarantees and he's no longer a $20M/year guy.

In all fairness, Zeke’s contract will get axed next year as we all know it’s an untradable albatross.

I think we’d have to GIVE draft picks away to get a sucker for that one. LOL

In a way, I have to admire the Cowboys. The Browns thought they were going to steal him for a 5th round pick. We told them not going to happen. Swap 6ths too or get bent.

The Browns blinked.

When we are selecting 9 spots higher in that round next month tip your cap to our front office.

Don't disagree but if 20 was bad for Coop Dlaw is a disaster at 27. This FO is pathetic.
IT is but D Law plays a more crucial position. Wide receivers are coming in here from the draft and ready to contribute. We know D-Law's deal is ridiculous. I understood why they wanted him back but he was never going to live up to that deal.

They are saying Cleveland was the only team willing to take on his complete contract. They had better offers for picks but would have to eat cap space

Translate.........other teams wanted to restructure to lower salary but Coop refused. Kept saying it couldn't happen w/o Coop having a voice. He knew by March 20, we either had to pay him or release him.
