His base is 20 for the next 3 seasons. I get you're hurt, but he underachieved for all of the accolades you're giving him.
Not hurt at all but what happened to market value , it's 14 million space 6 dead for Dallas, for Cleveland they can be one and done no dead money and 20 mill is the going rate for top WR. We will see what he achieves this season and what Dallas does with out him.

Oh Geez..

It's not that, it is just thinking the FO will do the right thing and even if they did EXACTLY what you think is cool..it absolutely does not mean it is the right way to go. At this point, being negative = being realistic after 25+ years of futility.
Wasn’t directed at you. Just more saying in general that people come here and just crap on anything

865 yards isn't top WR caliber.

We got out of Cooper's contract at the right time.

I don’t get why people go on message boards just to be negative and crap on anything positive lol
It's just a frustrating time.

Anyone who was paying attention, and was aware of the structure of Coopers deal knew that as soon as Lamb fell to us Cooper would be gone after year two.

Also them not restructuring Lawrence's deal last year meant he was gone after 21.

People just tend to think teams want to give up premium picks for these bad contracts.

Doesn't work that way.

If we won it would be chalked up to the price of winning.

Only problem is these two don't understand the window under which you have to win in this league.

They don't.

With or without Cooper this team is what it is. One thing we probably agree on is this ownership has no clue. They have yet to prove that they know how to build a team to compete at a playoff level. Like it or not I see this year as a bridge to Payton. Can he put together the kind of roster to compete for a title is spite of the ownership ? That’s a lot to ask.

i agree about ownership but disagree the team is what it is. Like it or love it or hate it when you sign a quarterback like we did dak you gotta maximize that window especially since we didn’t when he was dirt cheap. The goal should have been adding talent to the existing team or getting better through individual growth from young players.

I think it can be expected and honestly, EVERY single decision the Jones family should be met with doubt. Generally nothing they do works out. Sure, there are exceptions but usually those are just things they stumble in to. The phrase "every dog has his day" was meant for the Jones family when it comes to Football at least. Without Jimmy they'd be the worst owners in history probably.

Right time don't disagree but the QB has to throw to him, I wounder how many more WR's are going to die in Dallas.
Didn't seem to bother Lamb or Schultz. I wish fans didn't point the finger at other players; Cooper missed games and underachieved. He had two games all season where he was a dominant WR.

Jerry was fleeced as usual.

You trade the guy that makes everyone on your offense better for basically a 5th round pick lol
I didn't read through 30 pages so likely this has been brought up but...they were going to cut him and everyone knew it. I'm shocked they found anyone willing to give up anything at all.

Anyways...fast forward to the comments after around game 4 next year...MayBe HeD Be beTTeR iF hE had a NuMBeR OnE ReCEiVeR!

Lol this front office man when it comes to trades. Geeze there were 8 teams interested and they got a 5th LMAO.

I heard this afternoon there was one team interested in Amari, not eight teams.
It makes sense since there only getting a 5th round pick.
