Poor cap structure led to this.

Good point.........maybe if they would not have given the Ewok who cant run 5 yards without tapping out $18 mill a year, they could have kept Coop.

Going to be fun watching this offense next year when the Ewok keeps getting tackled in the backfield and Lamb is double teamed. If you guys thought Dak looked bad last year, LOL

I’m amazed at how certain fans defend the organization no matter what. It’s actually quite impressive.

I’m not defending the organization. Jerry’s anazz! But if they finally get a move right you have to recognize it. They found a team willing to take that salary off their hands. The contract was a terrible move in the first place and they were able to unload it.

God he looks so slow on the TV compared to other players. So, SO slow.

It’s going to be awful.

Well, that ends our cap issues. Now, we should be set for awhile.

Yes and, just think, had we not signed Cooper to a new contract, we would have probably gotten a compensatory 3rd round pick for him. This all goes back to bad second contacts. Looking forward to shedding Zeke and DLaw next year.

Given the QB, I'd say that's a modern day miracle.

Jerry Rice in his prime couldn't manage more.

Dak killed Dez, Williams, and now Cooper. CeeDee is likely next.
Sure Jan

Hey man wasn’t criticizing you in particular.

My main frustration is with fans that think Dlaw is terrible cuz sacks, or Amari is terrible because Stephen overpaid Dak by not signing him two years earlier for what $12 less? Or profess we got the steal of the draft in player x (cedee, zeke) etc

And then always have excuses for the org.
My main frustration is barring some Eli-manning like miracle run I don’t see us ever doing anything with Stephen at the helm, he’s clown.

“Deadlines make deals” has to be the dumbest strategy in the world, maybe not in the oil game but certainly in sports.

I know, but since I was defending the move I had to explain myself. Stephen and Jerry are a clown show. The trade shouldn't have happened and the contract shouldn't have happened but this they actually got right. That's like one in a row. Guess you gotta start somewhere?

I bet dollars to donuts if Philly had Cooper and traded him, they would have gotten way more in return.

They turned a crap heel in Wentz into multiple picks including a 1st.
Its like a one legged *** kicking contest and Jerry is the best in the game.

But he has his franchise TE to dominate the league with.

All indications were that they were going to cut him. Getting anything at all for him, and controlling where he went, is a small victory.

This is true. When the contract was signed you knew they'd be getting out in 22. It's not like this came out of nowhere. And they were able to unload the full contract, that is most certainly a small victory!

The Colts want Minshew. Philly is asking for a 2nd.

$20 million added each to the next two seasons. They release Zeke next offseason and we may finally be able to sign free agents next offseason

The reason for the low draft pick for Coop is due to the $20m CAP cost. Remember when we traded for Coops, we got him for under $1m first year.

Eagles will ask,but I doubt they get a 2nd for a 25 year old back-up. It's all about supply/demand and motivation on who wants to initiate the trade.
