I think our shortlist is down to 5 names at 24

Clear messaging coming out that this team wants to retool both their OL and Wide Receiver units. Unless something unexpected happens, I strongly believe 1 of these 5 prospects will be the team's pick at 24, in no particular order:

-Linderbaum
-Green
-Zion Johnson
-Burks
-Olave

Don't foresee, any of the top 6 edge rushers falling nor any of the top tackles. Both Dean/Hill are the wildcards if they are in that wipeout scenario. Davis lovers, he is expected to be long gone.

I dont think Olave will fall to us but I agree with your list. Olave would be like 88 falling to us and I’d think they’d jump on it

It looks like you’re really trying to convince yourself.

What about Jameson Williams?? You think he’ll be gone or cowboys prefer the other two receivers?? I like Jamo’s fit here with CeeDee.

Thinking we are about to go run game heavy on offense. At the very least, more defensive oriented than past years.

LG is a must in this draft
C is closer to a maybe, as I think TB will still improve
LT/RT is a more of a luxury pick for this next year, as Ball hopefully can be swing tackle.

Run blocking TE is also a need

I'd like to see an edge player fall, but edge typically gets drafted high (to the point of being overdrafted). That's likely to be the case this year especially, where the pickings are so slim at QB.

Its been going that way in the mock draft simulators for sure. I’ve been ending up with Boye Mafe quite a bit after the top tier dries up.

If we could somehow drop back and pick up another top 100 pick, I'd gladly take a guy like Mafe or Ebiketie in the 2nd round. My guess is those guys are going to be considered late 1st round by a lot of teams.

I like the top three names quite a bit . I’m undecided about a WR again as a number 1 although everything you hear about Olave is sensational and Burks would make that tall WR target Dak could hook up with going with Lamb and hopefully Cedric Wilson . A WR helps neither side of the trenches that’s a problem .

ot trevor penning n iowa
ot bernhard raimann cent michigan
og kenyon green texas a&m
og zion johnson boston college
wr treylon burks arkansas
wr chris olave ohio st

i think our pick is some where in there.
sounds like penning and olave may go before us.
raimann and burks not sure if they will.
could be our final 2.
just guessing.
the official visits will be a tell.
i think it's burks.
if one of those de's falls to us tho...all bets are off.
this is going to be a fascinating pick.

That's exactly what I've been doing. Detroit in particular has been a nice trading partner.

Couldn’t agree more.
