Speaking of trading for Wilson last year. If we gave up 2 first rounders and let Dak walk prior to the contract. Would you still pull the trigger?

Not a chance. I'm not that big on Russel Wilson.

so his feelings are more important than winning anything? just wondering.

I'd suggest every post in this thread by you is all about your feelings, Stardust.

It has gotten to a point the only thing discussed here is Dak and Zeke and never winning anything.

Just one huge steaming pile of negativity.

l wouldn't trade him, I'm saying would you keep him if we never win another playoff game or super bowl.
if a known elite quarterback was available? I'd trade him
Wilson isn't elite and has shown strong signs that he's close to done.

We do not have a super bowl D. So, at this point, no, I would not make a trade for an older QB.

No. I'm not a fan of Wilson. He's good but his best days are behind him. Micah is elite Wilson is not and you never trade elite players.
If I even considered trading Parsons, the convo starts w/ 5 firsts.

To even talk about trading him for a washed up short dude is beyond insane.

On a logical note, since Wilson does not make us super bowl contenders, this would be a beyond stupid trade.

If Parsons suffers a sophomore slump they’ll be plenty of fans on this board not wanting to pay him after his rookie deal is done. Anything less than what he did this past season and some fans are going to want to move on from him after his rookie deal. Fans love him now but if they feel he spent too much time this offseason reading his press clippings and isn’t performing to the super human high expectations everyone has for him he’ll receive some hate.

Hard Pass. Russell Wilson is not that good, he's about to go to Denver and look worse than anyone has looked there since Tebow. They settled because they couldn't get Aaron.

What a brilliant move it would’ve been to trade Micah Parsons and our first round pick for a 34 year old QB that went 6-8 last season and who only had one 300 yard game in 14 starts. Dak had a better season than Wilson. Seattle moved on because they saw his game coming down and they don’t want to have to pay him again. If Dak was putting up the low numbers he did last season there would have been a mutiny on this board.

how many super bowls did we win with Ware? refresh my memories age has caught up to me.

You can make this nonsensical point about any number of great NFL players.

The Cowboys had 5 hall of famers - including a HOF QB - on the roster from 96-99 and won one playoff game in that 4 year span. Their failure to win anything in those years had nothing to lack of talent on the roster.

Bring in Russell Wilson, any other QB you want. The Cowboys problem is at the head of the organization. Trading a generationally talented player like Parsons would add more shame to Jones legacy instead of bringing him another Lombardi.

I wouldn't give them Parsons but I would of given them Dak, Zeke and this years first round pick.

I honestly don’t think Wilson played any better or much better than Dak. Both had highs and lows. If Wilson regains that deep ball accuracy, it tips the scales to him.
That’s been the issue though. He’s been so reliant on big plays that it has the offense stagnant. Every team isn’t going to let you just throw deep all game.
In the 5 games before Russell Wilson broke a finger him his throwing hand, he was on historic pace:

72% completion, 9.57 YPA, 10TD-1INT

He missed only 3 weeks, came back early and this was his stat line afterward:

61% completion, 6.95 YPA, 15TD-5INT

You don’t think that had anything to do with a QB who’s been on an absolute tear for years suddenly dipping in production?
I have no idea….I was told people who post good stats in losses are “stat padders”.

When Russell Wilson had one of the all-time great defenses and Marshawn Lynch in the backfield his playoff record was 6-2 with a championship. Since 2016 with no beast mode or dynamic defense his playoff record is 3-5. Plus no QB gets sacked more than he does. Not saying he wasn’t a great player or has completely lost it but he isn’t what he was or Seattle wouldn’t have traded him. Dak’s only playoff win came against Wilson. Wilson won’t have much success in Denver if they can’t run the ball and don’t play great defense. He may keep them in contention but they won’t get far.

?

What does that mean? Stats in nonwins aren’t relevant?
