There’s been a consistent trend with Russ that he starts seasons off and then dies down as the season goes on. He hasn’t had the same success as when the LOB was there.

Hmm, I see what you’re saying. Maybe there’s two sides to that, though. While he hasn’t had that success since, it’s success he’s proven to have had. With Most other QBs in the league its conjecture they’d make it that far given the same opportunities; but no conjecture needed here

You can make this nonsensical point about any number of great NFL players.

The Cowboys had 5 hall of famers - including a HOF QB - on the roster from 96-99 and won one playoff game in that 4 year span. Their failure to win anything in those years had nothing to lack of talent on the roster.

Bring in Russell Wilson, any other QB you want. The Cowboys problem is at the head of the organization. Trading a generationally talented player like Parsons would add more shame to Jones legacy instead of bringing him another Lombardi.
so take no chances because we can brag about a generational talent.

Would rather leverage for Herschel Walker like trade premium. But Micah Parsons can be a Ray Lewis type impact and identity on the defense for many years to come (Could be). At best, try to trade your players at peak performance then get maximum draft picks... Rather than sign them to huge deals then end up releasing them later, or at best table scraps for them.

But still think a team needs Chemistry + Work Ethic + Talent to be dominant. I mean those things seem obvious.

But you need strong leaders like Micah or other types that elevate the play of others.

I think back to the Bulls dynasty in Basketball. Everyone elevated their play and competitive spirit because of Jordan and a great coach.

After the dynasty broke up, those supporting players didn't do a whole lot after.

Pointing out the obvious..but then you would just be out a 1st and Parsons and unable to sign Wilson...so no.

I’m not saying Russ is or isn’t good. All I’m saying is I don’t know. Seems his reputation is greater then his on field play. He’s getting by strictly on name.

Lmao. You guys kill me with the constant negativity. Why even post? People respond and no matter what they say it’s “THIS IS MY AGENDA! YOUR ANSWER DOESNT FIT IT” If you don’t want people to respond or have opinions maybe just keep these opinions to yourself or post on a place where people won’t respond like Facebook or Instagram.

1969, 2000, 2003, 2006, 1981.

Three of those victories have happened since your favorite teams last super bowl victory.

I can’t imagine wasting time out of my life frequenting a place that I am constantly miserable.

Yes, while Parsons is an amazing player I would much rather have an amazing player at QB than LB/DE anyday.

Just remember the year before D, that is what we would have again without MP. We have seen this movie before remember with Romo trying to outscore teams because of no D.

You're acting as if the trade is for Justin Herbort or Joe Burrow, a young rising star. Trading a young game changer on D for an old short washed up decent QB would be beyond stupid.

Not a chance. Love Russ but father time is coming. Very few can stave it off long.
