Dak is going to have to make it work with Noah Brown type WRs outside of #88, and many on this board have championed Dak so he should be ok.
No he won't

Dallas will once again have an upper-level WR group by September.

It's funny where Jerry sent him. It's like he's setting up to be proven right. Can't no WR sustain success in Cleveland.

If Baker could just play QB Cleveland could be really good. They just went to the Title game the year before. I wouldn’t be surprised if Coop and Cleveland have more success than us

What's "upper level"?
FA and draft still ahead of us, so let's see.

Last year it was a top 5 group, this year it may still be the top dozen depending on what we do.
Again, its a long time until September. I don't think last year's WR5 will be our WR2

I like their roster!
But, fwiw, they did not go to the AFC Title game in recent history.

Gallup coming off an ACL is questionable for the start off the season. Cowboys do not really participate in free agency enough to get a WR of significance. Yeah, they could draft a guy, but without Gallup being ready the staff may be more comfortable with Brown get a good share of snaps. However, if they re-sign Ced Wilson Brown's snap could be limited.

My bad. They lost that game in KC that was close. One of the better games of year

We’ve come full circle from cutting Dez

cut Dez, we don’t need a #1 wr, crap we kinda do, trade away a first for Cooper, offense gets better, get rid of Cooper, we don’t need a #1 wr

Wow Dak, Nice way to complement Cee Dee and Gallup - great leadership there!

This was a comment Dak made in 2018. Gallup was a rookie that was barely seeing the field and Lamb was sophomore at Oklahoma.

Says the guy who stands in the pocket to long tapping the ball instead of throwing it...

Dak is doing the best he can, he just can't process it quickly enough.
Unless the wide receiver is wide open he holds onto the football. Tap, tap, tap.

Anyone remember this quote from a few years ago? It still holds true.
"I don't know if any team in the league necessarily needs a No. 1 receiver," Prescott said via Pro Football Talk. "It's about getting the ball out, spreading the ball around, keeping the defense on its toes."

This is what has been drilled into Daks head since he came into the NFL. This is our style of football. From JG, to KM, and now from Big Mike. Spreading the ball around is all Dak can do. Distributing the ball to 10 different guys is why it doesn't make since to pay any WR big money in Dallas. Get ready guys, because if we still have the same philosophy in a couple of years, CeeDee will walk also. I love Coop, but he’s better off now to spend the rest of his career someplace where he is allowed to dominate at a WR1.

We'll see if Lamb disappears for games at a time or struggles with injuries. If he catches 80-100 balls/year for 1200+, they'll happily keep and pay him.

So now Dak is running the team? Man the stretch armstrongs some use here to reach for narratives is golden....26 years and some of you still dont know who is running this team, Jerry drafted #88 then made him dress up how he liked his #1 WR and now he is literally making sure he is the #1 WR...but sure its Dak, because you know its always Dak.
Dak sux!

I’ll bet CeeDee just loves that statement.
