Nobody thought Crawford was good. Just keep bringing up random things from years ago to prove your point.

Are you new here troll? Or did your Benching finally run out? Either way if you think people didn’t try to defend Crawford for years you’re either ignorant or lying. Lie to yourself if need be, the rest of us know better.

We have a good young team. We have a franchise QB who has 2 great WRs and we have Pollard and Zach Martin for now. We also have Parsons and Diggs.
The sky is not falling. Have a beer and enjoy your day.

And keep working on convincing yourself. But your troll game needs work.

I don't think so. I don't think a lot of teams are willing to put in the Time Energy and Money (TEAM) into Gregory as the Cowboys did. He should also be very weary and appreciative that the Cowboys organization stuck with him and had faith in him this long and other organizations most likely won't.
Ganjory would be out of the NFL if not for Jerry.

I’ve never seen a single credible analyst or nfl source back Crawford lol. You put to much stock into what casual fans say on the forum.

We have lots of great young players and just won 12 games. You can debate Dak he’s at worst top 15 QB. Rookie of the year who looked like the best defensive player in the league. A ball hawk DB who’s just learning the position. Tons of weapons on offence.

You and many others are blinded by hate towards the organization. We’re getting rid of veteran overpaid players. Correcting prior mistakes.

Which is exactly what I was referring to. Again, your troll game needs work.

And you and the homer crowd are checking your brain at the door and rubber-stamping whatever the team does. If you can’t think for yourself, that’s your problem, the rest of us can. And do.

Talented player , but for the price the pass rushers are getting he’s probably gone. His penalties in the playoffs pissed me off. Cooper, Collins, Gregory gone = culture change.

Said it in another thread. They wouldn't franchise Gregory, because they are going to overpay for him on a long term deal. He is Jerry's pet cat.

Wonder if the plan is still to release Lawrence, and that's why Gregory is a priority

I don't expect you to listen to this 24 minute ego massage but in it he most definitely makes that statement.

Our #1 priority. Bring back a career underachiever and add yet another bad contract to the books.

Funny if it wasn't so sad.

I'd much rather see us sign Bobby Wagner with the money we'd spend on Gregory and use Parsons in Gregory's position. Keeping Lawrence and re-signing Gregory only means that Parsons will be rushing the passer less than he should be. He should be played more like a 3-4 OLB.

Of course, we know that the Joneses will re-sign their own for big bucks, but not outside free agents. That's a travesty.

It could be a possibility. No reason to make that decision until Gregory signs. Frankly, Lawrence is the more reliable player even if his pass rush is not worth what the team paid. I'd keep him over Gregory.

So instead of insulting please inform me what I am being a homer about?
Yes I’m a fan of Cooper. But at that cap number, he’s gotta go. I’m fine with the move. Thinking the rookie of the year or INT leader are good makes me a massive homer? Forget what other people have said in the past lol that’s not me. I watch every game and read what endlessly about Dallas. I’m not being ignorant.

I'm sure he's looking at 13-16 mil per year. Just not worth it.
I think we'll be surprised by what his final deal looks like.

He can look for 13-16 all day, but no one is going to pay that much for someone who has never had more than 6 sacks in a season.

5 yrs and 16.5 sacks - 29 yrs old.

4 yrs - 32 million is my guess

Well, the good new is - he probably has the least miles on him in the entire league for a 29 year old.

Give him a 4 yr deal, which in all likely hood would be a 2 year contract.
My guess is 4 yr 32 million, with a minimal cap hit the first year.
8 million a year for a pass rusher that is good? id be thrilled with that... but that is fantasy land.

Man, I don't think so. I'm trying to find a comp of a player that has been paid top money, but has zero stats backing it up - who is already 29 yrs old.
If he was 26 - maybe, your paying top money with the expectation he is going to get better.

Randy is about to turn 30 next month....Love the player and the person he appears to have become after early struggles - but the production is just not there.

I hope to be wrong on this, but Gregory feels like someone we view as (and would pay as) a 12-sack guy.

Despite being a 30-year-old who has never even hit the 7-sack mark.
