I’d seriously rather we just kept Robert Quinn. Both he and Gregory are terrible against the run, but at least Quinn has given tangible production throughout his career. Gregory is about to get paid based off of a “potential” that hasn’t been realized in 6+ years of waiting

How many years would it take for Gregory to get the 'bad penalty in important games' out of his system? Because he won't stop doing it. Like stupid, stupid mistakes that no vet should be making. Plus for all the hype about his abilities I want to see more sacks, he only had 1 more than Armstrong. So I'm not overpaying for that.

He is, but believe it or not Jerry went to bat for him several times and we gave him chance after chance. Many teams don't have the patience Jerry has with some of his players

Exactly i dont understand the fascination with him as a player. His continous production has not been there. He flashes ability like twice a year

Can we please at least explore Chandler Jones, Von Miller, or shoot I'd even take Derek Barnett over Gregory at this point. If I could land Barnett, Wagner, and Kearse instead of just Gregory I'd take that in a heart beat. Casey Hayward is available as well, Marcus Maye and Jessie Bates too. Come on, do something.

The main area where this defense needs to improve is between the ends and at free safety, so I'm not going to be upset if we bring Gregory back while keeping Lawrence. I just wish we'd actually do something about those weaknesses.
