Is Lamb 88 a 1 WR?

That's a lot of hot air trying to suggest that, what is basically a marginal call, is definitive. Devonta was force feed in his 17th game to get Philly’s rookie reviving record and it was still short of what Lamb did in 16 games. He was certainly no better than Lamb in his rookie season, and I see no reason he will be better than him year 2.

He had 4 targets in week 18, his second lowest total of the season. That’s being “force fed”…?

because it sounds to me like you’re saying the 14.9 ypc ceedee avgd (as the number 2) with Dak his rookie season

Ah, there we go. First it was the dishonest “Ben Dinucci” approach to what made CeeDee’s rookie season so special for you, but now you’ve come around and we’re on the same page. Yes, Dak and the offenses we run is the entire point to their “irrefutable” discrepancy. Glad to see you seeing reason.

you’re kinda dense huh? my point all along was better total numbers in less games with a carousel of qbs. you wrote paragraphs and projections for some odd reason so i just showed you that that wouldn’t work either. the only point is there is no objective measure you can put forth that puts devonta over ceedee. i’m just entertaining it at every turn

ceedee is younger, more productive, had more talent stealing opportunities, outperformed devonta overall, and projected with his starting qb, and had a tremendous college career with the same qb you’re discrediting. at some point you just have to shutup, yeah?

I used objective measures. Your total numbers were only at face value with no context. Is Michael Gallup an equal receiver to Amari because their best seasons parallel one another? Of course not, because most fans know Better than to remove context from a blanket stat to show worth.

Where is Cedric Wilson ? Out of the three amigos minus one now gone to Cleveland i wanted to see Cedric targeted 25 yards or more down field. A dash of Malik Turner and a capable opening day ready wide receiver are going to be needed in the meeting room .

I hope so because he's now Dallas's #1 WR.
Whenever you draft a receiver #6 on your board, it's an expectation that you are getting a #1 WR. He will get his opportunity now to see if he can become one.

He would be a lower end #1 to top end #2. And that's okay as long as the rest of the receiving group is strong. With Gallup having surgery and Cedrick Wilson apparently a question mark on being brought back, the strength of the rest of the group is hazy. If Wilson walks they will definitely need to sign some talent.

I don’t see it, seems like another wildly overrated player by fans on hopium that is merely just good, like Zeke was.

Amari I believe was amongst league leaders in separation…and we couldn’t get him the ball. Think about that. You are a leader in being open and we trade you. Unfortunately for him he’s with a worse QB.

So Ceedee I hope for but even if he does turn out to be great I wonder if Dak is the type of passer to utilize him.

Side note: Stephen is a clown
Zeke wasn’t overrated his first two years

Well there are not many true # 1's, kupp , metcalf, adams, chase etc.

I dont think lamb is or will ever be all that good.
He was a college star, and as soon as he put on a cowboys uniform, jerry anointed him as a super star, a # 88 !!!!!
I know parcells used to treat rookies like rookies, for a reason, but not jerry, he gets excited and makes them a instant star before they ever play a down.

Lamb was a big college star, and jerry and many here thought he would be like that in nfl, but I dont see it.
He is just ordinary wr in nfl.

And dak isnt exactly great at making all the throws, so that comes into play.

I think a wr should have to earn that 88 , not just have it put on them as soon as they get here.

i think he was really good for sure but I didn’t think he was special, he got what was there, maybe toughest runner in the game, but I didn’t see a guy getting consistently more than was made available to him. We had a beastly offensive line.

i didn’t for example see a player distinguishable from say demarco Murray but he’s spoken about like he is light years ahead. He seems a product of production, promotion, and fan love (not saying you)
