Helman is my guy but Cowboys fans always hate life at this time of year.
We offload salary and see other teams sign our guys and wait for like 7-10 days to start signing budget deals.
It's very hard to be happy about is it unfolds even if it all ultimately works out.

We have seen an uptick in teams going for it and being rewarded by lifting the Lombardi so you'd like to see Dallas pick a season or two and just go for it.

the cowboys could win the superbowl by 50 and fans would still complain about messing up our draft position or call it a fluke

gotta look past these fans

We do that every year. We simply throw money at the wrong players/positions and overvalue our own.

The topics on this board reflect the frustration of the fans. This is the most frustrated group I’ve seen since I started doing post boards during the Campo years in the early 2000s. All the players have been receiving hate except for Parsons. The one and out at home against San Francisco has caused many fans to reach their breaking point. Several posters who are usually around for the offseason have disappeared. Dak and Jerry have been getting pummeled since the end of the season. McCarthy is basically a dead man walking entering the 2022 season with the Sean Payton talk hanging over him like a black cloud. It’s like the entire fan base has thrown in the towel. You see little to no optimism from fans for next season. Many want to blow the team up. The one and done along with the cheerleader scandal and Jerry supposedly fathering a love child has made this offseason particularly brutal so far. We just lost two of our top four receivers. It’s not a good time to be a Cowboys fan.

Agree 1000%........We as fans thought ALL boxes were finally checked for a serious run at a min NFCCG and to lose the first round AT HOME committed 14 penalties. For me, it's close to being the most disappointing loss in 30+ years.
The sad thing is some of us saw it coming. While others were saying were crazy.

The fanbase on twitter is enraged right now. Those of you that can't notice a difference right now vs past years aren't paying attention.

This was supposed to be a superbowl year or at least a deep playoff push and we got knocked out of the first round... and now we are letting all kinds of talent walk away or trading it away so on paper, as is, this team is worse. We couldn't even resign a guy we've babied for 5 years and reinvigorated his career. This is BAD stuff and the kool aid is so bitter that not even long time fans can stomach the taste.

McCarthy 100% feels like a continuation of the Garrett malaise era to me. I don't know how many people saw him as a franchise savior exactly, but to see the team look exactly the same as it ever was after wasting a decade to that disingenuous, backstabbing weasel is making people psychotic.

Absolutely. I'm as frustrated as I've ever been. They really sold us that they were a contender leading into the playoffs and then lost first round (never really even showed up.) And now they're just butchering the offseason. Bargain shopping bc they have to "pay the guys we have" but they don't do that either. Give away players who are under contract for little to nothing. If we're going to do this then move on from Dak and Zeke too bc right now we've got one foot in the door and one foot out and it's frustrating.

People are tired of this poop show ....... I just hope the fan base boos the Jones out of the building every time they show their faces.

Only way you will ever get different results from that moron is to hurt his ego.

Replace "ego" with "Bank account" and i agree...

How can one get frustrated? Shouldn't we be used to this by now? They've had homefield throughout and blown it, that was more frustrating than this.

Exactly! Had a friend who was a fan of the WFT and I was teasing him asking him how does it feel to lose all the time and he looked at me with a straight face and said you just get used to it. For me its becoming easy to predict this team and I have been actually developing a hatred for the Cowboys especially Dak. I still love it when they win but when they lose I feel like they deserved it.
