first his love child comes out of the shadows and sues him then his bumbling son blows up the deal with Gregory. Hell, I for one take solace in his misery. The old man has failed upward for the last 26 years with the help of his kids of course. Kharma? Maybe.

If Stephen screwed this up to the point that it means we get Von Miller...I might start a go fund me to get him plastic surgery to fix those drooping jowls.

Honestly we can’t blame the FO for demanding behavioral clauses in the RG contract. Not doing so would be irresponsible.

But I’m sure Jerry is hurting…he spent years rehabilitating Randy.

LOL...hey, like I've said in other threads. It's very possible ole SJ just become the living embodiment of the old saying that 'some of the best deals are the ones you don't make'.

He should just sell the team to us. Start counting your pennies

It would only take $171,223.85 per member to purchase them for $6.5 Billion.

We got that, right?

If we were going to put that in there, we should have put it in there from the get-go and then gave Randy the respect to where he could decide if he wanted to go with the contract we gave him or negotiate higher. Slipping that in at the last minute is very disrespectful. You go treating your players like that and you start destroying any goodwill left in the organization and other players will stop with the hometown discounts.

I haven’t seen any official reports that they tried to sneak those terms in last minute. I think it had more to do with Randy’s agent not catching them in the initial read through.

NO argument from me CC...I would have asked for the same type of behavioral clause he had the last few years as well. But where SJ showed his utter ineptitude was the TIMING of it. You don't say thanks, we got a deal then come back to have the guy sign it and say to him and his agent..."oh by the way, we included another behavioral clause for Randy." They were obviously insulted and walked for more dough supposedly. Now JJ and his under qualified kid can take the contempt, venom and disdain over it. And we ALL know JJ doesn't like to be portrayed as incompetent. Just wish it was enough for them to get the hell out of the way and let real football people run the team. I know...but I can dream.

Show me an official report of this happening and I’ll agree. Seems like a rumor at this point.

The problem is now Ol' Jerruh (acting on emotion) will overcompensate and overpay for a "has been" player....

The sad thing is that this may be the best move SJ has made in years and the results were unintentional. When we look back on the failed attempt to sign Gregory I think we will see that they dodged a bullet. Gregory has shown throughout his entire career that football takes a back seat and that he is not fully 100% dedicated to football.

I wouldn’t call Miller or Wagner has beens. But it would be important not to commit to those guys for too long.
