Doubt were getting someone better but you can replace his production for someone cheaper.
That’s left to be seen. While I’d agree with not paying him it doesn’t mean we haven’t lessened our talent level and pass rush. Hopefully we’ll invest the savings wisely.

Yes that's what I'm talking about 70 million dollars with of offside penalties!

i feel like randy is definitely overrated, but also like he could reach lofty expectations and would’ve liked to see it here after everything we’ve been through with him and how he’s flashed. shame, but on to the next.

I’m all for some of these Cap saving moves but it lessens our talent pool.

I guess we’ll be ok with much less talent on the roster in 2022. IDK

Now you are asking for a lot there. Invest wisely lol. We nearly gave randy the same contract riddick got from the eagles with half the production value. No matter who we sign i'd still want another OLB who can rush the passer and a run stuffing DT unless they trust Bohanna to step up and a MLB.

I’m not arguing any of those factors. My point is this going to make us a better team this year?

I'd say Good Luck.

He's worked hard on & off the field to finally start reaching his potential. He hung in there, he worked, he worked, he worked. He earned a pay day.

I have no hard feelings for Randy and wish him the best.

Denver already had a good defense and Randy should make them better.

No but I don't see most of what they have done making us better at this point. But I think Micah and Dlaw are better than Dlaw and randy if that counts for anything.

Yep but not better than all 3.

Like I said these sound Cap decisions are being made more for the future not improving the 2022 roster.

Great talent. Didn't like his "Hot boyz" connection and his willingness to laugh at infractions.

Gregory had a few monster games in his career but why would anybody give him a 70 million contract? He is 30, injured and is not reliable. No matter what happens on the signing front, Jerry dodged a bullet.

Sometimes it's better to cut bait and hope for a better chance to catch a bigger fish!
Perhaps that's the accidental result that Steven inadvertently stumbled upon.

When blessings are in order, maybe it's kismet for a blind squirrel to find the acorn!

He showed his true colors in that huge play off loss. Bless his heart.

Gregory cost himself money in the playoff loss. Screwed up once we had a pressure game. Not the guy to count on.

His supposed upside is not worth his demonstrated downsides. I'm happy to move on and take the comp pick.

Crying over that weed head? Please. He’s not that good. Sign better de now.

Both. So much untapped potential....He chose Denver cause weed is everywhere down there.

He will go to denver and be better than he was in Dallas. It happens with every player that leaves here.

6 sacks, disappeared in the playoffs, mediocre vs the run and jumped offsides on 3rd down way too often.

Plus I don't trust this guy with a bunch of money in his pocket, he is as undisciplined off the field as he is on it.

I think the Broncos saved Jerry from himself. 5 years $70 million is too much for a guy with his history.

He should’ve never been drafted. Time to move on.

If it’s any consolation to y’all, the Cowboys weren’t going to win a Super Bowl with Randy Gregory. Just like they’re not going to without him. So just sit back, relax, and enjoy the show.

I am a big fan of Randy Gregory, the human being. He has overcome a lot to get where he is today.

To Randy Gregory, the football player, thanks for the memories, good luck with Denver.... on to the draft.
