So we have 4 5th round picks.

Nice.
Depending on what took place earlier in the draft - a couple of options to capitalize on holding this many selections in this round:
Package two or three together to move up into the bottom of the 4th (a few teams might want to have the option to select multiple players players they deem of value and need in round 5).

When it comes to Day 3 guys, I'd rather take quantity over anything. Most years, I don't see a discernable different in a lot of guys after maybe half a dozen dudes that go quickly at the top of Round 4.

I don't really like packaging up a couple 5th's to move up to the 4th unless it's for someone like Cox last year who some thought could get snapped up in Round 2.

recently can't remember a late round pick becoming starter on offense or defense. All successful teams find starters in 3,4,5 round on OL

For those curious, here's all of our 5th round picks since 2000:

Simi Fehoko
Bradlee Anae
Michael Jackson
Joe Jackson
Mike White
Ryan Russell
Devin Street
Joseph Randle
Danny Coale
Josh Thomas
DeAngelo Smith
Michael Hamlin
David Buehler
Orlando Scandrick
Pat Watkins
Sean Ryan
Pete Hunter
Matt Lehr
Michael Wiley

So yeah, when Scandrick is the only pick who amounted to even the slightest of a hill of beans, drafting a high-echelon punter or kicker that might actually stick on the team isn't the craziest of ideas.

I'm fairly confident anyone could do just as well or better with 19 5th round picks.

But let's leave it to the experts!

You're not going to make friends here bad mouthing Will McClay.

Repeat after me: We are lucky to have him.

Use them on Matt Araiza and Cade York. Takes the risk out of our player projections. It's not hard to project whether a guy can get hang time or split the uprights.

Maybe use some to move up a few slots here or there or package two and add a mid 4th
Not that 5th rounders have gone well.
I guess we did move up a little to get Biadaz

oh I blame the guy pulling the trigger, McClay may have a completely different draft class if Mr. Genius is not around and influencing the picks

Got a feeling the kid from San Diego St....is going higher than the 5th round.

So the Cowboys are due! Realistically I would just use them to move around on day 2.

Use these to get a couple LBs and a RB

Both these positions are needed and easier to project and someone fairly good likely to be available
