Never made an assessment but your Karen is showing.

Only know one Karen, and we served together. Now, back to your posts. The tweet was concerning who the Broncos felt was higher on their board, and you said and I quote, "Based on what?" That question gives the impression that you do not agree. It leads me to believe that you have your own astounding scouting report that differs. I may be wrong, but I never ask a question like that unless I have my own opinion; therefore, I gave my opinion.

They just said on the NFL Network (Insider Mike Garafolo) what happened:

**********

Gregory agreed in principle with Denver. Then, Dallas asked him if they matched Denver’s contract, would he stay in Dallas.

Randy said yes and went to sign.

Dallas printed the contract. In the contract was a clause that is in every single contract Dallas does. It said that if the player gets suspended for testing positive for a substance, the guarantees are forfeited. All Dallas’ contracts (other than Dak’s) have that in them. NFL Network went and looked at a bunch of Dallas’ contracts and it was in every one except for Dak’s.

Gregory said he didn’t want that and left to go to Denver.

**********

The Dallas front office makes their mistakes but they didn’t do anything wrong here. Randy showed zero gratitude for all Dallas had done for him and decided to live in a state where weed is legalized (hinted at by the NFL Network).

People beating up the front office for this need to wait to find out what really happened before condemning the Cowboys. JMO.

Gregory, does not owe the DFT anything. He apologized and thanked all those who helped him. Football is a business. Stop acting like this is some prodigal son rendition.

It was a legit question on how they could've came to that conclusion. Especially for a guy who can't seem to stay on the field and isn't very reliable.

Worry about yourself, not me.

They said on the NFL Network that very few teams would have stuck with Randy and provided the off field help like Dallas did. One guy said “none”.

Personally, I would have felt an obligation to the team if I were him. Not everyone’s moral compass points the same way though.

Each team does their own assessment and they don't use the same criteria that our fans use, to assess talent. Maybe the DFT, should have gotten rid of him years ago, but they didn't; now, he has given other teams film and they will use him according to their scheme.

This has nothing to do with morality. You want him to feel guilt. His gratitude toward the Jones family is none of our business. His obligation with the team ended in negotiations. He can still love the Jones family aside from the business.

But you're fine with the team negotiating in bad faith trying to "sneak in" contact language after a deal had been agreed to? Sounds about right for that type.
I couldn’t care less if I’m honest with you. I just want to win

Lol, it's standard for all NFL teams. It is covered in the CBA if it isn't written in the contract itself. It was written in the previous Gregory contract that he signed. No matter what team he plays for, he will have it as all players do because it is in the CBA.

I see you just listened to Fisher explain all this on youtube a few minutes ago.

Hope Randy goes to Denver and shows out. Bobby Belt told the story of what happened and the FO was playing and got got.

Randy don't owe them nothing, and Dallas just has to pivot and use the money correctly to improve.

He is basically getting one big payday at his age. If I was him, and I was always one dumb decision away from risking a big chunk of that payday then I’d go with team that didn’t want to protection from that.

Lol, yes with the actual contracts shown. The exact same clause in the previous contract that he signed.

Didnt read through 30 pages, but from what I can piece together it went down like this.

Denver gave RG big offer, Dallas matched, then somebody other than Jerry, probably his idiot boy, added in a poison pill clause after the fact. RG get pissed, said F them, and signed with Denver. I dont really care that RG is gone, but I got to agree that its a total dick move to add in a clause to a contract after everything is verbally agreed to.

Got to hand it to little Stevie, he sure knows how to close a deal:facepalm:

Except, according to Fisher, it is in the contract.... regardless if it is written in the contract, because it is EXPRESSLY written into the terms of the CBA. So the CBA applies, no matter how the contract is written.

What I've read is that Jerry had the deal done and Stephen zoomed in at the last second and tried to make changes to the contract. Jerry supposedly is livid over losing Gregory. I've been telling you guys for a long time. You think Jerry was bad?? Just wait until Stephen get full control:facepalm: We are so screwed:hammer:
