If he’s now signed, why relive this crap? Nothing else negative to obsess over?

You know, when the media focuses on anything - positive or negative - it’s fine. That’s their job. So many of the posters here, however, are disgusting (not saying this post about DL was). The negativity flowing out of so many of these clowns’ mouths makes coming to and reading the forums not fun. I swear, if I had so much negative to say about a team, I wouldn’t be a fan of that team. The non-stop Jones bashing (the Jones family will own this team forever. If you don’t like it, jump ship), the never ending nonsense about Dak (he got the bag and led the team to the second best record in the NFL. Not good enough? Find another team), the constant whining about playoff success or lack thereof (it is what it is. Nothing some dimwitted fan spews is going to change history), the guys that actually believe with all their heart and soul that they know more about football and could coach/run a team better than current management (that’s such a joke. The lowest man on the coaching totem pole for the worst team in the league knows more about football and coaching than 99.9999% of any poster here, and judging by some of these ‘fans’ comments, they couldn’t run a Taco Bell). I read other teams forums and there are always a few knuckleheads, but we have WAY more here. My ‘ignore’ list is crazy long, but stupidity doesn’t go away, so the list keeps growing.

You ask a player to take a pay cut for 2 reasons:
1 - You tell him you need it to sign a big time player that will help the team
2 - You tell him his play has sucked and he doesn't deserve the deal you agreed to pay him originally

If the second reason was given to you at our job, how would you feel?

I would be pissed, but I’d probably suck it up for the money. How many Shmoes out there tolerate big time crap for FAR less money? Things are tough all over.

It’s not like he missed 3 months last year? He’s another turd. They would’ve been better off moving on!

This is what happens when you give someone who isn't worth it, $30 million guaranteed.

He is trying to pump up his own brand. It is ridiculous.

But he got his money. Why would he need to “pump up his brand”? If he doesn’t realize this would demonize him among the fanbase, he’s not very bright, is he?

The players on this team are very hard to like.....

Why? Because they won't accept a pay cut so the FO can do nothing with the cap savings? This isn't a winning organization, so players are going to demand money to stay here.
