So there are still a lot of players out there that can help the team. I think we are just waiting to see contracts to fall.

A lot of good names out there.
The key is, what is the combination of how much does each have left in the tank, for the price they feel they are worth.

Right now, many are looking for a big payday, that last big contract. As some are banking on their name and reputation to get that payday.

I think this is the hang up with Dallas fans. They want a big name signing, but not the big contract. However, they will complain when another team signs that player to a big contract. Then the logic goes to the window....why didn't Jerry sign him...Can't have it both ways, though it would be nice.

I think Stephen, doing his usual thing, wait it out, for the prices to drop. And in the long run, will be better off.

I think 99% of us want Von Miller. A no brainer. But when we seen wha the Bills paid, most understood why we did not offer that much. Some though still blamed Jerry as usual.
Wagner is still there, but at what price. Wasn't that the deal when Earl Thomas and Richard Sherman were available...would be great, but they wanted too much. And it turned out to be a good thing.

From the be careful what you wish for file....

I've always been a huge Clowney fan.

I wanted to give him Coopers money two years ago as an example.

The guy has shown zero desire to be what he can be, and is a text book example of there for the paycheck.

I want nothing to do with him at this point, so watch it finally happen.

He will probably have to play cheap and certain folks with plenty of say in Dallas are gonna love that.

This guy will make us long for Gregory's level of unreliability.

Some names of interest - Ingram, I'd look at Clowney although I have my doubts. Mathieu at S with Hooker would be nice (if Kearse falls through). Wagner obviously.

I'd have kicked the tires on JC Tretter at C but I suspect they aren't looking for a FA center. JuJu at WR.

But it's not week 2 yet of FA. That's when Jerry and Stephen wake up from their coma. They are hoping some of these names are still there next week and they can try to get them dirt cheap.

Andrew Norwell at LG might intrigue me.

They couldn't get him off Philly fast enough.

Not only is he kind of a JAG, he's kind of dumb on the field too. You think fans got tired of Gregory making a boneheaded play here or there? Wait until they get a load of Derek Barnett.

Actually had one his best season last year.......always been a good run defender but put up 9 sacks. Probably signs for less than $10M but problem is, he's not everyone's cup of tea.

Yeah you probably don't know which Clowney you would get. But we might be desperate at some point although I am sure Jerry will convince himself and try to convince his fan base that bringing back Armstrong to pair with Lawrence is a really good combo and they can draft an great DE too.

His coach was heard saying, "It's always him". He was referring to Barnette.

players I would love to add to our team, regardless of cap..

Tretter - Center from cleveland, then in the draft grab one of the few top OGs....OL rebuild is complete....sort of
Hicks - beef up the middle of the DL, he is more of a 4-3 guy
Julio Jones - that would be a wow signing
Norwell - to replace Williams
Everette - TE replacing Jarwin, who is much better than Jarwin
Kearse - sign our own.....
Fitzpatrick - much better than Rush, borderline starter that can keep the team on the right track for a few games if needed
